Pretty much every recent small update in the last 2 months or so have been tiny optimization/rendering updates or getting ready for the smaller breast size update down the road.
didn't they say they were also going to make a version with even bigger boobs? i find the idea a bit funny.
They didn't confirm it, they said maybe because the smaller breasts was going faster than they thought.

I'm down for the smaller breast size, or rather the choice of sizes, but yeah I think the super large looks ridiculous on any woman. Think having a slight reduction would compliment her. For eg/ A porn star I used to know when she was young looked really nice with usual size breast, it wasn't small and it wasn't super big, you know just perfect for her size, then she did this implants and boi that ruined her.

At the end of the day it depends completely on the artist and dev, I think anyone coming to a Remtairy game expecting anything but big milkers is tripping balls fr fr and definitely their fault lol. Though the latter can be said about some other devs that mostly make loli/flat chest content, or reasonable sized/grounded ones. Either way, both sides shouldn't be complaining.
Personally I don't care for any size, I'm more interested in the other curves

Well as you said the developers are in charge, so it would be upto them to make their product the best it can be right? I mean think about it you can control body size shape and have whatever your preference is including colour of hair? pubes or no pubes etc.. the more customizations you have the better it is for all consumers. It's a win win let them take time on production for this I'm sure we can all wait. lol
