This is the case for most of these games’ discord servers. Tower of Trample’s is one of the only exceptions due to the sheer number of users in that discord. Monster girl dreams is probably another example but I’m not in that discord so I don’t know for sure.

Eh, the Katalist discord has its moments, it's just that there's like 8 active people in there. And while he appears very ocassionally (like maybe for a couple of days after the release of an update), Teary is not really active there neither. I don't think that he dislikes f95 per se so much as he just doesn't interact with the audience a lot.

Yeah Teary is quite active when an update drops and people are bug searching, and then he dips off the face of the planet. I’m used to it at this point and I don’t really mind.

Is miki really new or something? I have lost to her a bunch and gotten to the point where she makes you say that you are her bitch, then goes back to her chair afterwards and says "get over here I need to tell you something", but then no dialogue comes up and her talk options aren't any different. Losing again doesn't seem to do anything. Is this just some unfinished scene or something and I should move on?

Please read the post right above yours. That post took five hours. Many people who already had done Bonnie are fucked since the "logic" was changed. Miki was changed, yes, but all the events that were changed got broken.

You cannot move on if you haven't seen mindsinks; your save just is fucked and you have six options:
- wait for Teary to fix the events (all of them, and that's a lot of bugged events and subroutines just for that part)
- trigger the Alex Interlude switch manually (but then you'll miss out on the mindsinks and the dungeon will break)
- trigger the first mindsink (but then the second and third one may not properly trigger)
- noclip towards the bugged Miki top-right of the tower (she's a blank sprite since it's a debug event), see previous pages, also not recommended because your mindsinks will be fucked
- fix *all* the events all by yourself for your save, which depends on what was done so far
- restart and speed through the story using the previous post above that took 5 hours and way too many fucking screenshots that people probably won't even look at because they're goddamn links now (thanks for the limitations F95)

People who have not done Bonnie are not affected. Make a save before Bonnie just in case Teary fucks her up again, and make a save before telling the witch about "Bonnie's Essence" after beating her for the first time.

People wanted a guide right? Have at you. Remember, this is for a fresh save. Your save won't have ANY scenes unlocked.
I also will not be telling you when to save except for story content where you cannot go back, which is at the very end. Save regularly and make backups. If you exceed the alloted amount of saveslots, you can still use more saves, just rename them, archive them, copy them to another folder, it's your call.

(Limitations made this quite a hassle. Max 20 pictures, max 64 post attachments and direct links to attachments are annoying to make sooo... yeah, hope you don't mind links.)

- Run Katalist and select "Wake Up". Confirm.

- Pick any choice during the intro. Head north and enter Gatastate college, as well as the main building.
Optional: Bring up the Menu and set Options to Hell/Very Hard/Vanilla difficulty (or Very Easy, you coward), and also set content options for stuff you want/don't want to see. You'll also be able to set Toilet and Brutality later, but don't ask about the rest because even though it's not implemented, this guide will ignore it completely. And so will I.

He's also in 1-A, because, well yeah, being smart and all, and rich and... having connections. But enough of this. Have your usual fun and call him Domi or whatever. Make a mental note of the fact he's in the Occult Club. And in 1-A. And yes, he's a he.

I'll refrain from being too enthusiastic about this since no matter the essences, all that matters for the game to progress is that you did kick her ass. You'll be handing her essence even if you don't have it. Don't believe me? Drop the item and do it. Anyway, move on for some more scenes. Also, you gain the valuable Von Slaught Necklace item which not only gives minor Mindbreak resistance, but also allows you to try and reduce Mindbreak effects once per night should Dilan become Mindbroken, Mindstruck or become affected with mindsinks (more on this crucial part very soon).

- Save your progress. Go back to the Witch's House through the Sentinel Tower portal and explain the situation. Now go back to Noo's Residence and ask her about the night of the Ritual.

- It turns out Jalié is no good, so you're going to have to face Bonnie Frost after collecting 5 Meddled Energies (the star-shaped items). Now would be another good time to save. We're getting close. Head back to your room after collecting the energies to find a strange cube. You now have access to Damna's Covert and can memorize three locations where your Fast Travel normally doesn't work.

- Spend the day as usual, skip to nighttime and meet up with Dominic and Vaila at the Witch's House. They will work in unison to open a connection to Hotel Vania. Before you go, it would be wise to get some more Pennies to extend your permanence. Make sure you have at least 5000 so you can rent a room for a day. Focus on the lingering connection and reply as instructed. Head towards the reception and rent a room. If you want some quick fun, head towards the lift and Margo Vania will not be happy. Exit your room and head to the lift right next, then Room S04 it is.

- The screen will start flashing, Vaila's dialogue will become harder and harder to comprehend and Dilan's head will start to hurt like crazy, with a voice chanting a looping threat in his head. You are witnessing the beginning of a mindsink. This has a major role in the upcoming dungeon and can completely block you from accessing it altogether if shit blows up. Once the dialogue is done, the true hindsight interference (causing a voice to loop and intermittent flashing screens following you until you sleep) will begin. Go rest before you go crazy, and SAVE AGAIN before you do!

Mindsinks prevent the use of the cube/fast travel, will cause nightmares when sleeping and can play out differently depending on the choices. To access My Own from the first mindsink, press the cancel button five times when prompted for the warmth or cold. You will get a message the first, third, and finally fifth time, unlocking a third choice in the middle.

The first mindsink will warp you back to Bonnie's suite in Hotel Vania no matter the route. It will play out differently depending on which route you followed. Choose walk forward to confirm.

- Don't try talking to Bonnie Frost once she sits down, she isn't reachable in the dream scene. You'll also notice you can use fast travel, which means you aren't truly in Hotel Vania. Teleport to your room and sleep again to trigger a second mindsink. It will match the route you picked and may have choices.

- Welcome to the Quarterboards, where you have many opportunities to find out secrets about Gatastate College. Secrets that, mind you, students "took" with them when they "left". Those who didn't are still here. Since this is a point of no-return, I'll leave you to your explorations, but before that, know that if you didn't see the mindsinks, you're essentially fucked, as they are necessary to leave the place. You can also reach the Departures without the keys, but that does require some glitch abuse. Your goal is to reach the Overseer's Lodge via the Rat's Corridor (where you will meet Alex) with Ki, who will be kidnapped by the ghost you met earlier (Julia) and sending you into a countercurrent bloodflow trap you can only escape from by fighting within your own mind. Once you cause the voices to shut up, the current will push you south to the Bloodworks, where you will meet up again with Ki who's being hunted by a starving Julia. Tell Julia to stop and distract her - in the meantime, Alex will leap over the pit and attempt to catch Julia, who decides to jump towards the opposite pit rather than be caught again. This prompts Alex to go back and curse her life, and you are then left with a further traumatized Ki left in a nervous breathing state. Explore a bit as you can't go back here, grab the pennies from the chest, go up then right to read interesting incantations of Niht and pick up various items, then left where Julia kidnapped Ki and to the end of the corridor to find a gory mirror and all the keys you'll need to exit this dungeon. There are way too many spoilers about Gatastate's staffers in here, so you're on your own - either way, now that you have the emergency exit key, head off to the Departures, flip the skull skitch and command it to open the Midways Level 2, then climb up the ladder to exit a manhole that was right next to Sentinel Tower.

i came here looking for pretty much this, im pretty sure im fucked and have to restart since my save is crazy old. but god damn man thanks, i was stuck in the quarterboards. i get all the way to the end and the way out just doesnt work, i go up the later and am stuck in a tiny room that does nothing you cant go back and cant go forward.

Just completed the game after a long break last I played was 0.75v or even before. This has a lot more content than before. Now I had to dig through the game files to find out what's going on. But one thinig is certain the dev is chewing more than he can bite. The game by itself is very convulated as he clearly planned to add more Villainess here than originally shown. And by the pace he is going at he will withiut a shadow of doubt drop it as it will become more and more hectic. A word of advice seriously keep things simple. As coders we should always simplify not complicate things. I like this game. I am rooting for dev and his work. But creators should focus on completing rather than refining first and foremost.

To be completely honest, with everything I have seen from following this thread, and even though I love the game, I can't see this game ending well. I tried playing this game a few times, but the grind is a killer. I might try the walkthrough, though, especially if I can unlock the scenes later. I truly hope that Teary will fix all the bugs when he gets all of his ideas out of his head; it's one of the main reasons I quit playing the game.

Edit: Oh, and also, just to contribute. Aside from the cold/warmth/"my own" paths, there are other two main outcomes for the interlude. You can obey the voices and let Ki get killed, in which case you hallucinate his corpse a couple of times and get a few more mindsinks with the voice pretty much calling you a bitch. OR you can initially save him, and if you did the cold/warm path then you can obey the voice *later*, which leads to the MC getting posessed and killing Ki personally.

Haven't done those paths myself so I don't know the details, but they're there.

Also, for Margo, I'll check the code, it played out during a third mindsink I frankly did not expect to happen. It plays out with two Bonnies inside of her suite (which most likely is a bug) and Bonnie going the same way as hindsight interference, but with sex scenes. When you wake up drained, you've been tossed in the hall in front of her door and Margo Vania wakes you up to tell you to show a bit of decency (because she also left Dilan with his crotch visible).

Ah, that's it then, I just skipped the sex scene with Bonnie (I don't care much for her) and left the room. Good to know nothing's broken, thanks.

... funny how skipping on a sex scene seems to make one miss out on a pretty important plot detail, though.

Had an instance where the mindsink entities also get added to the party (for the duration of the mindsink) but not removed afterwards, leading to for example "Nalid" being an actual party member - and a ghost Dilan that follows him everywhere. A bug, but a fitting one lol.

The ghost following you is not a bug, it's been confirmed to be intended.

He's still alive in his room and chillin, ofc I got a ghost buddy tailing me everywhere as well. I know I met Alex at first in the square hallway area, and the wild girl too (Julia?). Got confronted by Trent calling me matricula, told him to fuck off and got saved by... someone? Don't remember who called him off. Didn't see that outcome mentioned!

The interlude sure as hell seems complicated - hopefully not overly so at the end of the day, would suck if it really bogged down dev and made it so that each one needs to have somewhat significantly different content. Even just 4 paths is 4 times the work (theoretically)

That's actually the normal outcome after the interlude regardless of the path chosen (other than Ki's fate, which varies). Trent always confronts you and so on and so forth. There are also a few secret cutscenes that are unlocked after the interlude, but I'll keep quiet about those.

It's definitely ambitious for Teary to have so many outcomes in the interlude, but in the inmediate future at least the only real change is whether Ki is alive or dead. The "warm/cold/my own" paths will probably come into play later... I'm guessing.

Thanks again - just checked the code and that's another ghost lol (party member 62, which consistently follows Dilan once you are done with the mindsinks, interlude *and* Bonnie's route). I thought I was going crazy. This one's controlled by the events control map.

The gold and gas triggers allow some scenes. I think that only Miki and Beverly have gold, dunno about gas since it's not my thing. The other triggers are not currently in game and are probably placeholders for the glorious Dominic FemboyDom route (and other shit)

As for the discord, I'm in there, but Teary is silent right now. As said, this is pretty much normal, though I'm a bit worried that he hasn't confirmed whether the next update will be the next part (with actual content) or just a fix, since he did confirm when he was done with P1 and started working on P2.
