Well, not confirmed but ppl theorized him to be jailed which is the most likely possibility for his absence since June of last year(I was a patron and he no longer update anything on social media and others)

why is he jailed tho?
i did a little research and all i got is a little bit of news on korean and the machine translation wasnt very good nor the thing is detailed. all i got is that his on trouble after his identity got out from registering copyright stuff on his work cuz someone printed his work.
and for all i know, porns are not banned on south korea.

I'm not okey with it just like any other person looking into it. I find those kind of laws(like the mosaics censorship law) to be absolutely ridiculous and only put their to give government a reason to still existed. This mindset of "If their no more problems, create some." need to die off already. People need to have the balls to called out their BS. People shouldn't be fine/jailed for drawing uncensored penises.

From what I know, it's not becoz of uncensored porn, it's because after the N room incident, SK gov gets tougher on underage porn. Some of the animations he made hv character with student uniform, and he is caught and jailed by SK gov because he is suspected of spreading underage porn.
The reason he has been investigated is he try to register copyright for his art, because he saw many ppl reprinted his art as ads without his permissions. But ended out getting jailed. Which is very unfortunate and sad.

imagine getting ads for free then try to copyright ur underage art, cmon theres no harm if ppl use his art for ads, is not like he lose money coz ppl chose to watch low quality ads instead of paying Kidmo for what he releases, if thats the case that was just a pretext to copyright to make his art spread less on the internet and popular sharing sites.

I guess greed got the best of him because I wouldn't expose myself to protect my copyright from low quality ads. If the outcome is getting jailed by the SK gov at the end of it.

Same thought here, I remember seeing one of those ages ago. With over 4000 patrons at £5.5 per month(22k a month) I wouldn't trouble myself to deal with those ads which is likely to have less of an impact on the income from patreon. Heck, it probably even help advertise his own patreon since ppl are likely want to find the original creator of the art used in the ad.
