In any case, with that premise I have no interest in the game.
It all depends on taste. Sounds like a great game to you. I personally don't think that after reading the advise I could enjoy it. For now I will continue to ignore it.

Try to think of it this way, the dev has graciously confirmed that nothing too bad will happen to the main girls, but they do live in a dangerous world where if you do not help and take care of each other one can get easily get into trouble and some side girls might if you walk away from them or do not share some resources. It is not like until now you have seen every side girl die or be abused until now. Actually I have not seen anything like that, but did see a few choices where they might get into trouble in future if did not decide to share a knive or approached them in wrong way..

You may be right and it's a great game. Personally I will not know because I am not going to play it (at least as long as the warning is still active). For now I'll keep it on my ignore list.

Since I don't believe, nor is it my intention, that the Dev changes the premise, it's practically certain that I will not try the game.

Yes, he did that but it was only for the main girls (mom and sister) and that is my problem and the reason why I haven't played the last update. Who knows if at some point we are not able to keep all of the girls safe.

I don't think you wanted to be convinced at all.
Why are you guys trying to change his mind? He clearly stated if there are chances of people dying in this game, he won't play it. This is something that goes beyond the argument "this game is good and no one died so far".
I agree with him to an extent, it sucks to have such dark themes in a pornographic game because that would defeat the whole purpose of it being a porn game and, as such, it should avoid upsetting the player and thus "killing the mood" (IMHO). But at the same time, if the dev deems it necessary to feature such events, I guess I'm going to suck it up and still play it because it's too damn good to pass it.

Updates are always on a 'When its ready basis.' If this were any other game I would've dropped but honestly its just too quality to let it go for something as silly as time. Plus the dev does actually give a shit and let us know whats happening when he can and hes not sucking peoples wallets dry so its completely forgivable.
