I've played thru seven times so far and each time I get to 'the talk' with Sam (just before chap4) I feel like something is missing. I have to admit the first time I got SO salty - I playthru as if it was me IRL.
And what popped into my head was: 1. I'd slap that smartass smirk off her face and beat the living sh*t out of her (which wouldn't have helped anybody) or 2. I would have stood up walked back to my room gotten dressed grabbed my bug out bag and gear and left. More than likely I'd have gone somewhere close by until daylight then found someplace else like the warehouse. After two weeks I'd show up again - after I'd cooled down some and Sure Megan would be pissed, Sam my have had a relapse - like when MC skipped out on inventory day and came back late (good on her).
But I digress - what I feel missing is just that - a choice - there's a spot for it when you say "I'll be making the decision" and she's like "you will?". Then you'd have the choice of A: [say oh well] staying and swallowing everything she's done to you over the last 4.5 (maybe longer) months {game continues}. Or B: [say f*ck it] leave then comeback later (as above). After that you tell Sam (in front of Megan) about your 'deal', why she made it, what it entailed and how long it had been going on because of her (Sam) actions. Then find out if Megan knew about 'ALL' the stuff Sam had done. If not then you tell her everything Sam told you and end the 'deal' that was based on a lie. If she did know that night when she came to your room then..... ?. If that's the case you've been stabbed in the back by both of them and looks like there's no reason to stay or to have come back..... except 'Free Use' from both of them starting immediately.
Of course all of this would mean a major rework to add the content for the second choice/path. Maybe have it as Redburns 1.1,1.2,2.0, stand alone.?. But my later plays with different choices made me less salty - in the morning and not helping and giving her what she deserved .... and also what she wanted (the sl*t).

Or someone will just make a mod that writes out/rewrites any scenarios that could be considered "mood-killing". It wouldn't be the first time someone does that.

as long as they keep adding whatever content they want ever few months I would still love this more than most games I have played here.

The girl in the wheelchair seems to be part of the Harem.
And the girl which u can give a knife...no idea, seems more of a side char, she dies and u meet her as zombie if u don't give her the knife.

I just finished the game from Ch1-5 and I have to say, its really, really good.
I like the different choices we are allowed and this might be the first game where a Dom path is offered that I didn't take because OH BOY does MC treat mom like shit. I was hoping for a more loving Dom path but I'll just take romance for everyone as my main playthrough.
I am honestly loving Mom, Sam, and Olivia. Though I am really, really scared for Olivia.
What we've seen with the flash forwards. Obviously MC's Home is invaded by marauders, and we see MC freaking out as some thug forces a woman to her knees while he's hiding with what looks like Marie under the bed.
Sure, dev has said Mom and Sam are safe, he hasnt said aaaaanything about our tenderhearted Olivia, and stuck in a wheel chair during a rape-bandit attack.... not looking too promising for O's survival unharmed.
And that is completely aside from Any of the new girls we saw in the last scene of Ch5.
Two new redheads and A longhaired woman have no idea MC just got his shit kicked in by some dudes and probably wont be "nice" to those girls now that MC is down for the count...
I just hate seeing bad things happen to women, and having these new 3 raped and killed while MC is unconscious makes me all kinds of dreading that next update...
Also, WHERE THE FUCK IS MARIE?!
I gave her my knife, gave her food, and got a faaaaantastic bj and only got hints of her being alive (my knife in some dead fucker and a convo of marauders hunting for some girl). I certainly hope she's alive and well and MC can find her again. I also hope he's changed his attitude about taking women home now, cause otherwise, we don't see them for (3?) updates!
So yeah, great game Ink.
