So, the OP won't be updated by me until tomorrow.
I usually give my patrons around a week to play with a release, but I was so late with this one, I'll release it earlier.
However anyone with uploader and/or admin rights can update the OP anytime they like. So it may appear at anytime.

I am not the author of the patch, as that would break the T&C's of Patreon. And I would never, ever do that.
Anyway this stuff interests me, so I have tested the patch, for science reasons, and it works for me.
Did the Chapter 1 patch work with Chapter 1 before? And what platform are you using?

I'm afraid that's the jumping off point of this story.
Your MC hasn't suddenly discover his feelings for the others, then half-heartedly struggled with those feelings until he accidentally spies them soaped-up in the shower (which is why the obligatory shower scene is dealt with immediately).
You join him when he's horny, frustrated and wants to see some skin, and his judgement has been... questionable. Which could lead him to a lonely and grizzly end. And that's up to you.

Interesting though. He's accused of doing the same stuff that's fairly common in most VNs of this type (spying, creeping, toothbrush molestation etc). Do you feel he's slightly unplayable now, even though you may have made the same choices that led him there?

Let's hope you stick around to see him grow and change.

No problem Chris, and glad you're liking it so far. He is a bit of a dick and it's fair to say that the MC has been an issue for some players (though mainly that the female characters are owning him slightly).

Slow build-up with some teasers. A lot of effort has gone into plot/character development and 'stage setting'. This will be painful for the quick-release brigade, but for readers who are patient and appreciate suspense this is pretty damned good.

I do wonder how many people haven't bothered playing this due to the zombie content. What are they, scared? Scared their favourite character is going to be turned into a zombie sex toy?

Speaking as someone who avoided Chapter 1 because of the zombies, I can say that for my part there's no fear involved... I love the zombie apocalypse genre and I love kinky games, but necrophilia and decomposing flesh just aren't my jam... And honestly, that's what most of the zombie games here focus on. They're drawing on the trope of having the ugliest, grossest monsters they can imagine fuck their heroines.

I expected this one to go the same way, but the screenshots did seem to focus on the characters rather than the zombies so I thought I'd give it a chance to surprise me. And it did! ... So yeah, great work creating a story within the zombie genre that uses those zombies as ambiance and context rather than stunt-cocks.

That said, by the end of Chapter 2 this will-they-won't-they trope for incest is already getting kind of absurd. The mom and daughter are both clearly sexually frustrated, and they're both obviously lusting after the MC, and yet they're being total hypocrites about it by treating him like some kind of deviant for needing a wank... It kinda makes sense for Chapter 1, although not entirely, given the length of time that's apparently passed. But then Chapter 2 throws in a fantastic curve-ball before it goes right back to dwelling on the exact same trope for the whole rest of the chapter. Ugh!

They need to shit or get of the pot, so to speak. The society that created those taboos is now shambling around outside, decomposing on everything. The ratio of condoms and birth-control to survivors is presumably quite high; so no probs on that front. I mean there's literally no reason at all to not sit down and have the "I'm hot for both of you", "Me too!", "Oh, me too!" conversation.

So if the plan here is to tease out a few more chapters of mom's handjobs, before building up to the... Wait for it... Waaaaait... Blowjob scene! (Ooh! Scandal!), only to cockblock that with the actually interesting curve-ball story; well I'd be long gone already. Ain't nobody got time for that.

(If I wanted a game that was all tease and no pay-off I'd go and self-flagellate with that wordy shitshow, A Wife And Mother)

TO be clear I never said the game is bad, I think its amazing.. Like really good. That is why I am frustrated that I have to wait so much.. I used the patch in the first "episode" and I have forgotten what it does.. like does it put the names of a speakers on the dialogue tab. And also do I have to install the patch for every update. I know in some games you just install it for one update and in some games you have to continuosly install it for EVERY update. What type of game is kindread

Making the situation more realistic is so refreshing. I was really getting tired of crap like a Gary Stu teacher talking like a moronic weeb yet still having every known woman in the city lusting for him.
