Sorry, I've no idea why this doesn't work for you. I've tested it again and it seems fine.

I work on this game in any spare time I have. It's not my job, but I will keep plugging away when I can.

For the tech issue, I've no idea why you're not seeing the names. That's a bug I've never seen.
The patch needs to be installed for each update, as it changes dialogue not just names. It does change the dialogue title for the older female, but this shouldn't affect any other character.

Oh stats!

It's 50% of the code used in Chapter 1, though that chapter had the initial set-up code and branches with slightly differing events but repeated code. So let's say Chapter 2 is 65% the size of Chapter 1.

On images it's roughly 60% the size of Chapter 1.

Where the numbers do drop are in choices. However, that's by design as you're slowly seeing the affects of your previous choices.

But they're just stats. The reality is that I decided (and announced) that I was moving to smaller chapters to help kick chapters out the door sooner.
Unfortunately real world circumstances didn't help that plan, but the aim is still to produce chapters of this kind of size (but the number of decisions within them will vary).

It kinda makes sense for Chapter 1, although not entirely, given the length of time that's apparently passed. But then Chapter 2 throws in a fantastic curve-ball before it goes right back to dwelling on the exact same trope for the whole rest of the chapter. Ugh!

They need to shit or get of the pot, so to speak. The society that created those taboos is now shambling around outside, decomposing on everything. The ratio of condoms and birth-control to survivors is presumably quite high; so no probs on that front. I mean there's literally no reason at all to not sit down and have the "I'm hot for both of you", "Me too!", "Oh, me too!" conversation.

So if the plan here is to tease out a few more chapters of mom's handjobs, before building up to the... Wait for it... Waaaaait... Blowjob scene! (Ooh! Scandal!), only to cockblock that with the actually interesting curve-ball story; well I'd be long gone already. Ain't nobody got time for that.

(If I wanted a game that was all tease and no pay-off I'd go and self-flagellate with that wordy shitshow, A Wife And Mother)

Yep. I agree with mostly everything, except your last paragraph of course, but did you get the game timing wrong?
Chapter 1 spans one day (generally). From afternoon to the next afternoon. There's a timejump in Chapter 2, but until that point you're still in the same day.

So, the issue is more how have things escalated so fast, and that's a mixture of things you've mentioned, porn logic and some stuff that you'l find out about later.

I have lots and lots of thought-out reasons for everything. Whether you agree with those reasons, I'm not sure, but happy to chat about it.
Though only stuff that's been published.
And within spoilers would be good.

Very interested on what you thought was the curve ball was in Chapter 2?

This is down to my noob Honey Select skills at the time. They've improved, but HS still isn't great at subtle ageing. Hopefully their dialogue, characteristics and approach to things help show an age gap.

i do not use incest patches..so to me they are just random babes i lucked out and ended up with...if i ignore references that point to them being related i'm ok with boinking them(in 8-9 updates..HAHAHAAA!!)
