i think this is frist porn game i played have cool game play and atmosphere but combat system need alot work until last version i didnt play sekiro but i watch the review in this game if u doing combo fast u can doing finisher i think this mechanic can work on this game too like if u doing combo fast u can killing 2 or 3enemy same time or cuting head or hand on single enemy finisher mechanic was on god of war and mortal combat before in this games enemy must be low hp but on sekiro for finisher u need fast combo so player trying and learning too doing combo faster and fighting more fun

Thanks for the suggestion and I'm glad you liked the game. I think that's a good idea and it can fit in this game, for example if you are responding to keys too fast, that would mean insta-kill. I'm currently improving combat system, which will mix turn based combat with fast paced combat in a better way. Currently it will be basic but we will add more and more when we start to introduce character classes, then I can implement this idea.
Unfortunately I was extremely busy this month and I'm still halfway done with the combat system, but I'll release a new version as soon as I'm done with it.

I decided to remove any sexual content from the game. Nothing will change, except quests with sexual content, sexual routes will be replaced with new, non-sexual routes.

How did I come to this conclusion?

Currently I don't really care about sexual content. It distracts me too much, not because I'm getting hard-on, it just feels unnatural. Just as we we don't say "your money or your body" in our daily lives, giving player sexual ways to progress through the game mostly feels forced. It's too early for that.

BUT

I still think sexual content will make this game better. It's just now is not the time. I want to complete this game, then make something like an DLC. This game is not just porn game but the fact that it has porn in it makes huge difference how our game is perceived and how many people are going to hear about our game.

I actually thought about adding and option to turn on/off the sexual content, but that would affect story too much, I'd either have to write to many different routes or just remove some routes completely(which would mean missing content if you don't want to see porn) and I don't want to do that.

I kind of feel sorry, I really want to make this game filled with sex, but I guess I'll have to wait. I guess this also means this topic is going to be removed from f95zone.

I believe there are games on this website with no sexual content so I wouldn't get concerned about being removed.
The sexual content doesn't need to be mentioned in the story at all.

For example, It can always be implemented as in-battle sex when you fail defensive reaction, maybe have the button indicator have different colour if it's sexually based, so the player would know when to fail for sex instead of damage taken..on purpose

Then the sex can be made millions of ways. Maybe have a struggle bar with/or sex tempo progression with/or pose progression, depending on enemies still alive as well or something etc. Then have her "escape" next to the battle zone entrance, leaving only the unbeaten enemies there something. Never gets old. Plot wise It can just stay with the character as her personal secret and barely or not influence the plot and dialogues at all, and it can easily work, really.

Option to turn off the different coloured sex based reaction bottons from appearing during combat is viable, so no way to trigger sex content then+It would be hilarious if it was called "parenting lock" in the options menu, like a reference to how it was done in classic gory or adult games or something. I don't see a problem if the adult content or most of it gets in the game last during development, it all depends on the dev's passion and programming convenience or whatever.

You probably can quit and load the game, continue button just loads the latest save game anyway, sorry about that.
Edit: Assuming you died and continue button didn't work.
Edit2: Oh I guess you are talking about main menu, well if the slot doesn't have anything saved on it, continue won't work and iirc there was a bug which prevents you from going back.. You probably don't have anything saved on that slot.

Psycho Dev, any news on when you'll return? I was the one that recommended some sex scenes but its better tp have a full story done and then do the characters take advantage of the main character + the boss scenes when you got defeated. Still planning on continuing or you're abandoning it? This is a really unique game, I really hope you don't abandon it.

I'm glad you didn't give up on us! We don't have any intention of abandoning the project, we aim to complete the main game as soon as possible, then add sexual content as an extra content. We plan to add sex as an easy way out in some scenarios, replacements for game over, easy money, repeatable bounties and an alternative way of progression in main story, also as a romance(currently we have 3 characters in our mind).
We got slowed down a while ago because of some problems my artist went through, but currently we are working on game full speed! We are both can't wait to add sexual content to the game!

I mean I was kinda dissapointed when the game ended abruptly after version 0.21, this was my first time in this site F95 so after trying to find a game where the MC (preferably female) would be taken advantage of and when she needed help but didn't have the resources to pay or something she was forced into do something else. Besides this a pixelated game, so I found it intriguing. I had never played a game like this, unless you wanna go back to 80's on the NES. After searching high and low, I did find a few games with some similarity but not all of it. So that is why I recommended maybe adding this scenarios for your game. Besides, the story is interesting, there's not a lot of Medieval pixelated games out there that I know off.
So by now, you know that my game fantasy would be: BDSM (either by boss or helping character) Submission, rape, female domination, Multiple endings, Bad endings (turned into slave, submissive to a female gang or another princess, kidnapped, etc)

Now I know, this can be really overwhelming sometimes and not everyone is gonna like it. I just hope I didn't overwhelm on your work with this many ideas. After all, you decide what you wanna do.
I agree that its better to FINISH the story or part of it and THEN focus on the sex scenes, whether is bad or good. Its just a shame that many developers leave without finishing and their game are GOOD, imagine if they were EXCELLENT? Now I'm going wayboard, its going to blow my mind.

Started from the bottom and sometimes it takes a long time to see something. If money is what keeps this project alive then sadly you need more updates to get people interested, I'm only 1 person and maybe more people are interested that I dont even know about. Imagine, I'm already intrigued in the game and there's a lot of possibilities for this game to go forward.
But if its passion that keeps this project going then by all means continue with the fantastic work. The longer the process, better the work.

P.S: I don't know how to make games, whether is 2D or 3D but when I have time, then I'll definitely make a game with all my fantasies whether it gives me money or not. When? Never? I have no idea lol, just having ideas and maybe some I'm giving them to you.

I always wanted to ask if by any chance at the beginning of the game, where the guy tells you that they need to leave because they're attacking the tower. I always wished that maybe adding a choice for the character to stay and fight but immediately lose and got gangraped by everyone and even let's say some female warriors also with strapons. Obviously, not only that would be very time consuming and ridiculous but that was an idea that I had. That's what you would call "a bad ending".
Anyways, I leave you with that and just thinking about it gives me more ideas for game WAY INTO THE FUTURE.

Btw, I'm sorry that I just mention this but you can see I clearly lost track of time. I'm sorry to hear that from your artist and I hope things are better. Sometimes, its better to deal with problems away from the internet because it can get you unmotivated and burn you out completely.

In conclusion, don't let this game die, whether you agree with some of my ideas or not, do whatever you have to do and I look forward to continue playing the game and I would gladly donate on Patreon in the future. If it does end up abandoned, I guess at least you gave you're all.

Thank you for you awesome support! There are lot of opportunities to add different ideas like the ones you mentioned. We'll add them as we see like, then we plan to add different scenarios as a patreon reward(like poll or tier reward, not sure atm) in future. We'll build the basics, then add upon it with your support, or just move on to another game if people don't like it. How much time we'll spend on adding content will depend on how much people want it.

We do this as our passion, one way or another we plan on making games. As I said, if we can't earn money from this game, we'll move on to another one as soon as possible. But by no means we wan't to leave it half done. We'll complete the base game, then we'll see how it goes. With the possible support we can get, content we can add is infinite.

Currently we are mostly busy with creating stable open world system, as this is our first, it takes some time, but we'll do our best!

This being the case and I hope I'm not too picky. But does that imply that the sexual scenes at that point, will they be mere animations introduced for the combat or some key points, that will not have weight in the story?
As is the fact that if you lost at one point, the outcome of a situation or future course changed.
Oh rather, they will be taken into account, only that, until the end point is reached, they are implemented and if one chooses that direction of history, it will be that one will be skipped to the result point, thus temporarily evading the cause or because of such result?

First of all: This is an amazing game, so congrats on the concept and the gameplay also seem refreshing. The combat system is easy to understand/simple and yet doesn't feel too easy. Well done on that. The story is also interesting.

Some bugs and crashes for now but none too major so I expect the devs to iron them out as the updates keep coming.

Now idk if it is a game engine restriction but I would like if save slots could be switched in the middle of a game instead of being locked to one save slot for the whole playthrough.
Secondly, would like if the quest log would be clearer since mine seems to be stuck on "Get out of the cave, end of the current update"

Outside of that, looking forward to future updates. About the lack of sex scenes that other people have highlighted, I don't personally mind as long as the gameplay itself is polished and then the scenes are added later. This game should be Steam-worthy once it is finished.

To answer your first question, I'm thinking about making a separate version for sexual content next patch without any connection to story, just for fun.

I would love to integrate sexual content with actual story, though it's still too early to say anything about that story wise. I'm planing story with sexual content in mind, so I don't intent to skip any part if player makes sexual decisions. All this time I had to prioritize game engine over game content and made lot of changes in my original design, which took a lot of time. Though I can finally focus on game content rather then game engine finally.

Thanks for the feedback! Save system is completely rewritten and quest system(how they are handled and shown) is improved, hopefully it'll be much more stable now. As you can see in the attachments, each save file is separate now.

Version 0.53: Mostly technical improvements and upgrades to already existing systems and some graphical and performance improvements.
After long trial and error phase;

Crafting

Systems are all done and ready for upcoming content. Probably there are still things to do, these systems are not fully tested and may not be enough for future content, but I'm done with these for now. You can see some placeholder sprites, don't mind them.
I quickly added a prostitution scene at the tavern and and put the old game over rape scenes back(except Dianna, one with soldiers in the tunnel and goblins at the cave entrance). Prostitution scene is just and example and will change in future.
