The thing is though is that if you simply want mindless porn there is more than enough of that filling the internet.

Theoretically yes but how many games are there which are:

- Fantasy games
- In english
- With multiple female protagonists
- Who get ravaged by lots of groups of strangers and monsters, by themselves and in group scenes
- That doesn't have garbage grind mechanics that are required to advance*
- And actually good art, with erotic writing that doesn't make me ashamed to be playing it
- Also the protagonists are not lolis

* Arguably KoD is even worse than having forced grind spots, because it lets you skip the grinding initially but then leaves the game unwinnable later if you try to save yourself the time. (There's a reason why I felt it needs a cheat menu mod to be playable.)

Maybe there's a vast treasure trove of games like this out there that I don't know about, but Noxian Nights is still the only one that meets all of those criteria. (There are many translated japanese games that come close but then have loli heroines: That's a dealbreaker for me.) Tbh NN and KoD are the only porn games I actually keep around to re-view scenes to get off: Most I just play once and then delete them. So I don't mind at all that we're getting a sequel.

That said, what KoD was doing was also very unique and difficult to find, and I'm sad that spiritually at least, it's dead. Personally I'd have preferred they cancelled the game and started a new one with new OCs, to avoid this awful tone shift in the middle of the game, but that's just my opinion.

Well, they said "We're expecting an early September release for it." The two important bits are the "expecting" and the "early". So they probably want to have a release before the 13th-15th of september, but there is no guarantee that it will happen. So with some luck we might be playing the new version in less than two weeks. Without luck i guess over 3 weeks aren't impossible either.

So it's become abundantly clear from this update that the game is now being steered directly into being a spiritual sequel to Noxian Nights, with our protagonist constantly getting groped and delivering sexual favors to random nameless NPCs. And I understand that decision, it's what all of their users except me seem to want.

Which, I liked Noxian Nights, but I also liked what this game was and I'm kinda disappointed we're not going to see that game finished. Ah well.

Here, I just made a quick script modification as people seem to request full unlock of the gallery a lot. Just extract and drop this in your Kingdom_of_Deception-pc\game\Database folder and overwrite when asked, and all scenes will be unlocked in your gallery regardless of your save files.

I don't know what all the fuss is about. The preview picture shows art for repeatable events. Those have nothing to do with the main plot. This makes the game way more interesting than it currently is. An example: now you work in the tavern and get a generic text event after you kill the orcs. With the update you get a repeatable groping event.

What the CGs above are for is for inserting sexual content into normal dialogue scenes with the paper dolls, so that the writer can mix and match elements for minor scenes without Nomo having to draw an entire new set of CGs specifically for each scene. This will have two effects: First, it'll make it much easier for the writer to sprinkle in a lot more sexual content than there was in previous updates. The frequency of h-scenes can be massively increased, to the point of every single conversation being an h-scene if that's what they wanna do. Second, because all of these CGs are of Sabia getting molested... that's what all of this new sexual content is going to be.

They wouldn't do this unless their intent was to have the main story of the game now largely be about finding various excuses for Sabia to get molested by orcs (with a couple of human and elf assets also available so probably a little bit of that as well). Maybe you're right and they won't do this, but that would mean letting this new content go largely unused, which sounds insane when you consider how much time must have been spent on all of these mix and match components. It would be like buying a house with a 6-car garage and then just letting them sit empty and unused.

I'm talking more about tricking the people who might have already stopped paying, they can't see it's not an actual release.
