The effort went into backgrounds, sprites, and other stuff like that. If you want human, elf, whatever sex in the future - those assets need to be created. The new places need to be coded. CGs are the bare tip of the iceberg when it comes to the effort required to create this game. Again, speaking as an amateur artist - it takes a long time to draw and render a single character with any real detail like Nomo's. It takes much longer to do a background. Now make that multiple new backgrounds, multiple new character sprites with multiple variations, and so on. If all they wanted to do was churn out CGs they could have a dozen out every two months - but it would be terrifically dull.
Not surprising, more than one CG a month is unthinkable. I'm just disappointed that none of the CGs this update were even worth ripping.
If you say so. The CGs are worth far more to most players. A beautifully drawn background by the dev is a nice addition, but isn't much better than a well made stock one.

I get the feeling a lot of people would prefer that actually, just use pre-made assets for everything but the sex scenes and maybe custom faces for the main girls, then just do the sex scenes on transparent backgrounds. They'd much rather have more content faster than the extra level of quality this game's art has.
Didn't they spend a lot of time on those little cut in images this update? I haven't seen any in-game yet...

That may be so, but it would be very dull without the stuff surrounding it. If that's all you want, then there's literally no difference between this and porn images or whatever. Personally, I get very little out of it without the context and character interaction.

I started from the beginning since I had no saves, and my Sabia is OP as heck, she two shots Lutrvog and takes 0 damage and also has 400 health. Is this some godmode version or something? Used the restoration mod btw, idk if that has anything to do with it.

My saves do appear to be somewhat borked. Tho, that could be me being an idiot and deleting old saves to start a new playthrough...

I'm not sure, I haven't worked on these mods in so long I'll have to re-familiarize myself with the code before I can do anything with them. Do you have any of my other mods installed, or just the prologue restoration?

So looking at the game now that I finally have it downloaded (curse my shitty internet) it looks like the cause of the problems is that combat has been reworked: Basically both Sabia and the enemies all have much larger stat values now. The restoration mod starts the battle with Lutvrog with him having his original stats, but Sabia has the massively inflated ones. It is a simple fix:
I'll go through and check all of my other mods for compatibility, the hardest one to update will be the fanfic mod (which will have one new fanfic scene in it) since that's actually integrated into the story in a way that I'll have to re-write and re-implement. I hope to have it done within the next 24 hours but no promises.
EDIT: Here's a fixed version of the Cheat Menu mod, which also needed updating
