Are you saying that that bar scene was voted on by the Patrons? Well. That's unfortunate. That scene could have gone in so many different and more interesting directions than it did.

I think it was. I know one of the scenes from that update was voted on by Patrons. I doubt it was the cat quest tent scenes, so it was either the bar scene or the human prisoner interrogation scene. I'm thinking it was the bar scene. Guess a majority of the Patrons prefer non slutty, strong Sabia. Which is fine. To each their own. I was just hoping there would be something for us peniless pervs too. Ah well. Maybe next update.

Yeah agreed. I suppose there's plenty of time to build towards our sluttier version of Sabia. The game is still in its early days after all.
I like visuals, but I also want my visuals to reflect what happens in the scene... having a visual that have very little to do with what happen in the scene is a distraction more than anything else.
Unpack images from KoD to see just how many Nomo had to create in order to reflect Sierra's writing and then try to imagine what this game would look like with only a single image per scene...

What's your point? Of course more images are better. I never said that wasn't the case. I said even a single image is better than no images. So obviously more images are better than a single image. My point is I can't enjoy an H-game unless I have something pretty to look at. Even if it's a single image it is better than just a wall of text. I can jack off to an image of Sabia's generic naked standing pose coupled with text describing the scene a lot easier than I can to just the text describing the scene.
True, true. I just really want a good bar scene though. Preferably soon.
My point is that single image is not better then no images at all... that single image that doesn't reflect what happen in the scene is nothing but a distraction. Appologies if that didn't get through.

Well, agree to disagree. An H-game without any art is barely an H-game in my eyes. The same way erotic novels are barely pornography. A single image goes a long way.

Same. Plus looking at the background of that teaser, it looks like it might be the bar. Hopefully it will be similar to the bar scene you hate, but ending with a good, repeated dicking! I guess we'll have to wait and see.

It's a non-canon 25 dollar Patron only scene. So unless I somehow magically get rich in the next month or so(At which point I will gladly donate 50 bucks to them, or more if they'll take it.), I sadly won't be getting it. Blue-balled yet again.

Eh, I wouldn't the devs still got the money from someone. They make $7,500 a month, which is pretty good for a 2dcg game.

It's more me feeling bad towards the people who pay for the content while I get it for free, than it is feeling bad for the devs. I'm sure I'll get over it the moment I see the scene though.

Don't forget that Sierra get another 4.700$ a month from her own Patreon... which is amazing when you consider that TLS is text only RPGM game!
I'm not sure if Nomo have individual Patreon as well.

afaik Nomo is from Bulgaria, where 3-4k USD a month is massive and you can live like a king with that income. Not sure where Sierra is from but from hreinngames and her own patreon, she gets 8k USD a month where you can live very well in 99% of the places in the world. That said, they deserve every penny.
The value is not there for me, 25 USD a month (300 USD a year) to get a little exclusive content is just too much. I would gladly be a patreon if the reward was for 5 USD a month patreons, which is 1 full AAA game a year with tons of content.

Sure, but as we know, Patreon revolves around incentive for people to give money. Take my favorite example, Re:Maid, by Marble Syrup; the "full game", which includes cheats that somewhat modify the storylines, is only available for $10 patreons or above. It's a lot to pay for a single Visual Novel (even though that one is top notch imo), but it's a lot to receive as a "thank you" for supporting the project.
The way I see it, these high cost rewards are only a way to distinguish the most "loyal" patreons from the others, not really a reason to pay top dollar. Besides, they release their latest version only a week after they gave it to their patreons, so it is truly up to you if you want to give back. That extra-scene is their only way to acknowledge their supporters while still "giving away" their game.
At any rate, I do hope no one here would try to justify piracy because "x is making enough money". We're all jerks on that level, there's no need to deny it.
