People don't like to hear that something they like is going down the drain. It sucks when it happens, but it always happens to smaller projects that are way too ambitious. I hate seeing game grumps go to shit, but their latest content has been ass. I miss their old stuff. It's like that, people don't want to accept the unfortunate reality that KoD is just a money grabbing scheme atm, and the only thing that will encourage change is to NOT support them with money. If they have to earn it back, that forces motivation.
Nah, people don't like hearing criticism period.
The subject of the criticism doesn't have to be going down the drain for that to be true. It's just if people like something they'll feel personally invested in it and thus can take criticism as a personal attack, especially if it's less than constructive.
Also, as someone who has not been following the development of KoD, how are they a money grabbing scheme?

I have payed for it in the past, and ceased doing so do to what I at least feel is poor performance.Wonder how many paying complainers we would find here...
Money grabbing scheme is probably too far, It was mostly hyperbole for effect, but they are 100% stretching out their dev times for increased patreon cash. I want to say it was march that they announced the new update would be late march, people subbed, wasnt until late april it came out, with no update on the release until like, 4 days beforehand. I can't fathom an excuse for development times that long for mediocre content updates.

1- The game is mediocre and don't worth.
2- Also the updates are getting worse
3- The dev doesn't care for his fans.
4- The dev is a milker and takes advantage of everyone.
So, Why so many posts of people who keeps coming back to say the same thing over and over again, crying and ranting on the same subject? Why don't move on? Is this the famous constructive criticism?
Or people just need to vent their stress?

Wow...it's almost as if various people have come to the same conclusions about the game and are communicating with each other on a public forum, but no I'm sure they're just the same people crying over and over again
What do you want people to do lie and circlejerk about how amazing this game is lol? When a game has problems people are going to talk about those problems on a forum related to that game. Also I've been reading thru the past few pages too and I havent seen anybody being downright hostile or "crying and ranting" as you say. Actually I take that back I do see a certain group of people being needlessly hostile towards those with criticisms for no real reason.
The homophobia is unnecessary and idiotic.

At the end of the day I just want this game to get back on track because It's one of my favorites. And I think a lot of others feel the same way too.

I'm more and more getting the feeling that Sierra was the glue holding together any semblance of work ethic that Hreinn had. I'm hopeful that maybe they're just working on a massive update and taking their time but I have a bad feeling the next update will come out in August and have 5 scenes.

I think it's a few updates at this point that people had these hopes and they were always let down, so you shouldn't get your hopes up
Unless they've decided to put something in their paid discord server, no they've gone another 3 weeks radio silence, andf the comments on that post on patreon are mostly people asking for news at this point, so I doubt there is any. They might post something in a week or 2, but who knows at this point.

It's fine they are just taking their time .........I'm sure in the next 6 weeks we will get another update with 10k words 9 choices and 2 H scenes we just need to be a little. "patient" ....but all sarcasm aside they hit quite the rough patch I Got a feeling they will get everything moving smooth again after the next update.
i realy like your optimism but that has been happening for over a year so i doubt anything will change.They most likely gonna say that "we had some problems" and "now we found our rythm so next update will come quicker".The only way they will actually start doing work is if they start losing money or their patreons start complaining. What i dont understand is that the people on discord(who pay them) dont complain at all they accept what is happening, I mean how can you accept this farse and not complain.
