Spot on, if the sexual content was second to none it would feel worth it but it's pretty regular sex content massively spread out over several dreary campaigns.
It would be okay if you had something compelling to do in the mean time but you just don't. Either it should be a VN like you said or it should have actual gameplay, make it a strategy game or something but even then that's pretty niché and not many people would want to slog through it.
It's such a pain in the ass trying to remember what route you might be on so you can figure out who you can and who you want her to have sex with and as it stands it's really not worth playing over and over again. In future I hope they just make it so unlocking one scene unlocks another scene you could have got along a different route.
If people want to actually play the other routes they can, otherwise everyone else gets to experience the whole thing without massive grind.
That's one thing that's always bothered me about this game, like how at the start she just gets raped right away and there's only one tree of choices that let you avoid that(so I heard, maybe it's been changed to be easier)
There's a lot of stuff the game just shoves at you like that. Personally I like a female MC to have agency over who she fucks and how, the content itself doesn't bother me unless if involves faecalphilia but I should be able to choose when and what happens.

I don't agree with hakarlman's suggestions at all, but at least he is wishing the game had been done differently from the start. You're agreeing a scene from the start of the game should be re-done into being more alike the start of the game? At this point some people are just gonna complain no matter what. Why didn't Sabia just fuck herself out of the stupidest franchise in the history of adult game franchises? Seriously, each update following the human warrior and her orcs and """catgirls""" from Grok og Dar as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the slow updates with little content and plenty of excuses, the game's only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of side quests, all to make adventure unadventurous, to make action seem inert.
Perhaps the die was cast when Hreinn and Sierra parted ways; they made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody, just ridiculously profitable Patreon bux for endless bug testing. Kingdom of Deception might be anti-consumer (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-DrPinkCake series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.

The writing is dreadful; the game was terrible. As I read, I noticed that every time Sabia justified acting like a wanton slut, the author wrote instead that the character "needed to put her body on the line." I began marking on the back of an envelope every time that phrase was repeated. I stopped only after I had marked the envelope several dozen times. I was incredulous. Hreinn's collective mind is so governed by cliches and dead metaphors that they has no other style of writing. Later I read a lavish, loving review of Kingdom of Deception by the same Icstor. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these paypigs are playing Kingdom of Deception at 21 or 22, then they will go on to donate to Milfy City." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you play Kingdom of Deception you are, in fact, being trained to donate to Milfy City.

It’s a sub path...Yeah, I tend to do that. But not every smut game has to be Milf city - it can also be well written and make sense. I keep hearing that kod was supposed to be that political masterpiece with plot thicker than orc's cum and yet what I brought up can be called character development 101 and yet it's kinda meh

All I know is, there are games I play, and games I just download CG rips of. I expected this game to be the former, but it turned into the latter.
Someone really dislikes the drinking cum from a cup fetish. Yea, i don't get what happened, they used to make a ton of art and progress, back when it was just Nomo and Sierra (talking about the monthly updates of Noxian Nights).
But now it just seems like a joke, like 4 scenes (really 3 though), even with added backgrounds and all, is just mind baffling, considering it has been 5 months.
Like, i think they must realize that themselves as well, as this is a porn game and people don't really play it for the pretty backgrounds, they play it for the pretty dick on "inserted in one of Sabias holes" action.
I really hope the development will change, but i don't really think it will sadly.

It's funny that you should say this because I felt that storyline problems cropped up almost immediately, by the second or third update. The (at least, projected) consequences to Sabia's long-term agenda of siding with the different orc leaders were never really defined, and the orc leaders were all shockingly passive--both toward Sabia and each other. And the updates started to drag very soon after, which indicates that the authors were having problems advancing the plot. I really don't think the authors ever got a concrete plan for that in order, and I suspect the origin of the dispute which broke up the team is internal, not because fan factions yelled at them too much.
