Well it seems that a Panel picture could not be loaded. You should be able to simply ingore that.
If you want to see it, I suggest redownloading the game, maybe something happened to the picture.
As always it's RenPy so do not copy-paste your saves.
Feel free to message me, if this doesnt help :)
Thanks bro

So, thank you vrew754 and Deefrost for the news, you are awesome.

I wonder if the "bigger events with more scenes" is anything like the tavern party was in Noxian Nights, because i am up for that. A bit more dynamic camp seems to be good too. I liked the teasing mini scenes in the recent patches and the sexy/fun interactions with the orcs. And this patch is supposed to have some important main story events.

The tent teaser pics look hot with 3 new variant for Sabia, vastly upgraded visuals and Neve and Bris joining in the fun? Yes please. And while i liked the sketches as a bit of visual aid for mostly text-based scenes, i'm glad they listened to their players and made the change.

The last part is the tricky one in this post as it has been pointed out already. The "make things faster and prevent future delays" sounds nice and partially true too, but even from the outside it doesn't seem entirely correct.
Now that Nomo found a style that can be done faster for these simpler scenes, he will probably be able to make those faster, but as someone pointed out a while ago (i'm sorry, i don't remember who), Nomo's drawing speed has been quite consistent over the patches. If this is true, then the bottleneck is usually either at the writing or the coding, so the updates will probably not be faster because of the new drawing style, they just might include one or two more simple scenes than the otherwise would have.

Similarly the future delays will probably not be caused by this, but as we get to interact with more humans we will still need new sprites for the men, since the game still only has the random armored dude one. This and a few others that we could already gather will almost certainly cause delays in the future.

Which brings us back to communication. This update post would have been 9/10 awesome (minus point for the "faster from now on part) if it was posted way earlier. It still counts as the end of the month update, the news are good and the teaser is hot, but the "bleed into may" just seem to have a great meme potential in this thread and with an upfront communication that could have been avoided.

Personaly as i mentioned i hope that they chose to post this now because they are just about ready to ship this patch and didn't want to get our hopes up before things were finalised, and it wouldn't be unprecedented either, but i obviously don't know that for sure.

Here's to the hope of a good patch.

From patreon:
Hey guys!

Nomo here, with an update on what we have been doing. So we have been trying to include scenes that will allow us to make things more dynamic in the orc camp, and in general, to the point where we can have bigger events with more scenes depending on your alignment.

A reason for the delay was that we had some of these scenes done, as you have seen already, but a lot of those were met with different responses. The idea behind the Sabia's tent CG's was to test and see a faster drawing style with more simplistic scenes and try to get more simple CG's in each update to expand on content and sexual encounters.
However people had mixed opinions and while everyone liked the idea, some people still liked the more detailed scenes and line work, rather than a more sketchy one.

So one of the reasons for the delay in the update was that I wanted to settle on one style and do that so that moving forward the best route was taken. I have redrawn and added new scenes in the simple CG's above for both Sabia as a sub and dom, and for all her possible paths she can take. So now the quality of them is a lot better, and I hope everyone is happy with them and their variety.

Based on your feedback I feel this was the right choice, and this will make things moving forward a lot easier and faster, and doing it now will avoid future delays.
Any new Avion scenes?

I think only 2 months, I mean, redrawing its not easy, Hreinn had not good excuses in the past but this one is fair, redrawing cg from 0 is time consuming, 2 months for all the cgs with all the variants, they should say it before though
I generally don't like shitting on devs because I am one myself although I work in a totally different domain but let's be honest with ourselves the game itself is so fucking simple it's inexcusable how long it takes for it to be completed. I genuinely feel like it's more leaning towards a VN than an actual RPG as it currently stands. I'm not gonna dwell into the art aspect of it because I have no fucking clue how long it takes, I'm sure it's time consuming doing all the variants and shit, but god damn just look at Valheim for example and what a small team of 5(?) people managed to accomplish in about the same time as the people who develop this game. Heck, I don't think they even had a patreon or whatever until they released the game on steam in 2021 and it's a brilliant open world game. In KoD all I do is click. Click on dialogue, click on cities, click on locations, click click click

If they were doing this in addition to full time jobs I could understand the long delays, but ever since sierra lee left it's been nonstop radio silence. Ive only seen like 4 updates in 2 years.

What the fuck?
Why was my post removed?
What do you mean "off-topic" when I have been criticizing porn game called Kingdom of Deception in a thread about Kingdom of Deception???
Was that automatic because some crying children have reported my post too many times or someone from the mods is fanboying?
Like what's the problem?
I'm not allowed to criticize developers of a game in a thread created solely for that very same game?
Someone explain because from my point of view either I am not getting something here or the rules on this website are fucked.
Mines were removed too! Some people could not take it. :))))

You're not alone in this one. My post got deleted earlier because it was "off-topic." All I did was poke fun at the devs and the imaginary "blaming us for their own delay," which have yet to be proved.

I guess some of the folks don't want any criticism ruining their fun.

Nomo is prolly depressed and gonna drop the proj soon
Every year, the game Kingdom of Deception, which has been in development since who-knows-when, has gone downhill and won't be going uphill sooner or later. Dropping the project altogether still in the realm of possibility, though.

Teasing scenes and more interactions are both great additions, the only problem is you can't go replay them through the scene menu.

Probably, my post was also removed for "off-topic" because i pointed out that they didn't charge patrons for May because of the delay and that their patrons chose the longer to take but better cgs, meanwhile all the crybabies are allowed to keep shitposting without any problem at all. Its an echochamber of people just crying and crying all over and patting each other on the back.

Yeah of course, I know it's not good to have 2 updates a year at average, I was just saying that its probably not Nomo's fault, more about the codders work (As long as I know, Noma is kinda writting the story too), I think Nomo don't even live of drawing so he/she work too. If KoD need something is a change on the team of codders, that should make us have at least 4 versions a year

Great, they didn't charge people for May because of the xx time they're late with an update, such a good pure Christian souls, simply amazing.
Are they the "good guys" now?
That doesn't make any criticism they rightfully get from people which see throughout their bullshit any less valid.
Foul me once shame on you, foul me twice shame on me.
