t). If I personally had to guess, Sierra wanted more of a story focus, while Nomo was going more stereotypical porn story. Pure speculation on my part, just based on the general feeling of the post Sierra updates.

If I have to hazard a guess, one wanted an in-depth story on Sabia navigating the politics of the orc tribe and one wanted to pander to as many fetishes as they possibly could to better milk the patreons.
Or maybe i'm just full of shit.

I'm fully behind the idea of Sabia having as many dicks, as many kind of dicks and as often as possible. Vehlis, Neve, Tyra and especially Lynn are welcome as well. Not so happy with orc females or retarded furries like Kia, cat girls are fine tho but not as fine as humans (yes, I know Neve is an elf). Truth be told no matter how good the story was I wouldn't bother playing it if not for the outstanding art. I'm the porn guy after all and I'm sure there're many people like myself.

Pretty much all of the Sierra haters decided they'd had enough and packed up around the time 0.6 came out. Aside from that, it's a bit of a "the grass is always greener" effect: We couldn't know, then, what the game would be like if Sierra were replaced with a new writer, just as we can't know, now, what the game would be like if she'd stayed on. But it's always easy for this hypothetical game in our heads to be better than the reality we have.
(And for the record, I've supported Sierra since I got into this game and haven't changed my stance on her.)

I am unsure why you're talking like those positions are/were held by the same people rather than different parts of the fanbase... Incidentally, the prevalence of the "all the diccs" crowd in this very thread is exactly what leads me to suspect yabo may well be on to something as there's no obvious and inherent reason to assume a vocal analog doesn't also exist among the actual paying backers.

Is she a decent writer? Sure, in the context of western porn games. But that's like saying she's the greatest basketball player in a court full of midgets. People acting like she's the Tolkien of porn games need to relax. The reason for this game's downward spiral isn't her absence, it's the lack of communication between the devs and their supporters where they would go months without a check in on top of adding scenes that literally nobody asked for like all the shit with the catgirls while giving the main attraction of this game (Sabia) barely new content. It was like that even before she left too.

From that full Patreon post about Sierra leaving "It might surprise to some to learn that all of the characters, most of the story and plot, history and backstory, as well as even some of the speech patterns of characters are also my creation." That's from Nomo. So any hatred towards the catgirls or Kia rests squarely on him. With Sierra leaving and the communication issues still not resolved, it's also pretty clear where the blame for that lies. I really like Sierra so I am biased but it seems pretty clear that a lot of the issues with the game people have cannot be laid on her. Would the game be better with her? I think so, but only marginally because the same problems would exist if she was still on the team. Her leaving didn't ruin the project - but it may have saved it because now people can rightly direct the blame where it needs to go, and maybe, finally, the person responsible may listen and respond
Considering the current topic was the "creative differences" involved in her leaving the project rather than the management and communication issues already previously covered...

well personally i would rather have both 50/50 both story and porn! without this story there is far better porn games/comics outthere and in other hand without enough porn art/dick for sabia then whats the point of KOD anyway?

You'd think they knew what people wanted given they set out to make a female mc corruption game. I don't think "communication" is the problem. I think what genre of game the devs wanted to work on and what fanbase they wanted to attract was the problem.
SL wants to attract the womens/lesbian erotica crowd, nomo wants the far more numerous corruption game fanbase. For a while they tried to walk some compromise path where no one gets what they want while double dipping into each fanbases and now we're back at how things were at launch.

I play the game to see Sabia dicked. For me scenes are more important than the story but story has to be decent. Also please for the love of god no more Orc ladies , furries or some weird shit. I want them to get dicked just like in NN. Only Riven, Kata, Irelia and LB.

TOTALLY agree! SPECIALLY on no orc lady or futa monster lady! for me the theme of a warrior girl surviving in an orc camp and being ravaged by them was extremely hot to me! NOT another oh KYAAAA dont rape meeee japanes hentai crap! and due to that when she was fucked/raped/dominated it was far more attractive to me! but this recent furry and catgirl or orc girl lesbian/fuck crap totally kills it for me! its like totaly another game when it involve them and waste a good resource to be used instead for advance in sabia story and corruption!

Technically a recurring character: The pink-haired catgirl leader who gets chained up and fucked in the tents if you chose "recruited" or "freed" at the end of the catgirl quest. She's being turned into a major character.
