I can promise you, that I won't delete/report your comment. In my opinion, everyone has a right to their opinion on my game. April and July stuff is easily fixable and it'll be fixed before the next update comes. I would like to hear more about your opinion on the speed of the game, and I could tell you my opinion in some more detail. One of the things I have to keep my eye on while developing the game is that game is not dull, and focusing on one thing at a time would make too much time pass before something interesting happens. Like somebody before you commented, about prequal and all that stuff, there is much thinking of what I should leave for the future, what should I remove from the game entirely... I know that problem with speed is completely my fault, and that fault lies in me not having a problem with what speed the game progresses. For now, 90% of (female) characters that MC interacts has some kind of relationship/interaction before the game started.I have to say something about this, I was going to leave a review but I try not to do that until a game is more mature(into its development). This game is almost 100% expository dialog, and none of it is natural. All of the information is thrust upon you a million miles a minute and it is so overwhelming it honestly gave me a headache.
All of the girls fall in love with the MC in three sentences or less, some even before they've met him. And you don't stop meeting new girls up until the very end of the current content. That is ridiculous. I don't even remember half of their names except one is named April but everyone calls her July. Why? I don't know, but it was distracting enough for me to notice. And all of them have the same personality, that being they're obsessed with MC.
I get this is some power fantasy but there is no suspension of disbelief here and it makes my brain hurt. My best suggestion is slow the story all the way down. You have 5967937 plot points going on and you give no time for the reader to absorb any of the information.
Anyway that's my two cents. I'm sure with the way I've been treated on this forum so far this comment will be deleted, but if you do read this dev, give the MC a few seconds to breathe before you have some new conspiracy to throw at him. You know, give him time to actually BE WITH one of the umpteenmillion women that love him so much.
As you said, and I completely agree, the game is still in its early development, and setting up more than one plot point for future culmination is the price I'm ready to pay in early development. When the time comes and the player gets to the point where they are shocked by what happens and how you could see hints of it in the first few updates. That's the kind of game I'm creating, and the game I'll for sure be proud when it comes to some future updates.
