I wish we had a hentai game with the budget of Red Dead Redemption 2

Yeah, i'm sure they're proud of that dlc.
But i can't still understand, this is gonna be actually a DLC for KK or a standalone new game? And i mean that because there's not number in the title and is the same style as the western version of the title (the "Party" one).
I'm still confuse but interested, because this is probably the 3rd try of create something "open-world" after Artificial Girl 3; the first one was Sexy Beach Premium Resort (thanks optimization) and Ai Shoujo (thanks optimization again).

I know there's a lot of y'all out there unhappy with Illusion's latest releases, and I'll be honest, I am too.
BUT, let's be fair here and remember that they are HARDLY any other Japanese hentai game company out there as prolific as Illusion. If you're hard-pressed and want more you can always visit DLsite, but a majority of the games there are just as repetitive and generic(if not more) than Illusion's games. Also, can you really blame Illusion for copying the same formula they've used for the past 4 - 5 games? Just like any other triple-A company, they work on what earns them the most money. Since Honey Select and Koikatsu are their biggest titles in terms of reach and popularity, they, like every other game company in existence, will milk it for all its worth.
To their credit, it's not like Illusion has NEVER tried to branch out, because they have. Just look through their wiki and you can see that their formula has varied quite a bit in the last 20 years. Their greatest weakness (which a lot of you might agree) isn't so much the gameplay itself, just the lack of sex positions and variety in characters available.
I bet my life's savings that if Illusion were to somehow gain the ambition to create a Dating Sim game with more sex positions than the bloody kama sutra, greatly expand the character maker options, and included alien races, furries, etc WHILE still maintaining the gameplay of dating, getting to know the girls and their backstories, and slowly building a proper believable relationship with each one, y'all would be hailing that game to be the greatest in Illusion history. But I don't think we're ever going to get that.

Tbh, I am just glad that they finally start building on the foundations they have laid out.
Building something on top of Koikatsu is a good thing, they can skip the part of creating Koikatsu in the first place and invest the time somewhere else.
The 130 shagging positions for Sunshine are probably just ported from AIS, and we should technically also have all the clothes from Koikatsu in there (unless they were stupid enought to remove them for no good reason...its illusion after all (but thats nothing mods wont fix.)).

Fair point. Now that I think about this, I'm 99% sure we will never get AA3, even if we get a game that plays like Artificial Academy. Because Koikatsu is same setting, but, at this point, I think it's a lot more recognizable name, and they already have a pretty good foundation there with good anime graphics, and exploration.
That's the real problem. I'm hoping "together BnB" will deliver something good. It certainly have the potential. But right now there is no porn at all.

if you read the title it says TRIAL. so at the moment this is the game, for the full game you have to wait, and I don't know how long maybe autumn.

nah The reason why they don't release anything "interesting" is that the people buy the "boring shit" without thinking.
that has nothing to do with piracy of their games.
the best example of this is CoD or FIFA. The same boring shit for years and still earn millions with it.
"Gamers" complain first and then buy it anyway.
Buyers give a fuck about the quality of the games, so why should developers even bother?
I like koikatsu, so I'm not complaining

It can be done, but all attempts so far (by anyone) have gone about it the wrong way around.
Illusion games today are 90% character creator and sex animation viewer, and 10% game. To be truly great someone would have to make a great game first, then add the sex to it after.
Some of the best sex game experiences I've ever had weren't sex games at all. You take an already fun and established game then mod the sex in after. Skyrim is a good game. Add adult mods and it's still a good game, but now with nudity and sex. The same goes for every Bethesda RPG from Morrowind to Fallout 3, Oblivion, and so on.
The Sims 3 is a wonderful and massive life sim. I enjoy playing it even without adult mods, but toss in some great body skins, an uncensor mod, and the Kinky World Mod and you have a truly amazing life sim with plenty of adult content added. Part of what makes the Sims 3 fun is the progression, and the Kinky World mod really works with this. A character might start out prudish and shy, but through skill progression they can slowly open up until they are an insatiable whore who fucks strangers in public. There are also plenty of consequences to your actions. Significant others can get jealous.
In contast the Sims 4 is not a particularly fun game to play. It's got it's fans, but it's nowhere near the massive, dynamic life simulation that the Sims 3 is. It has plenty adult mods too centered around Wicked Whims. Compared to The Sims 3, there are better looking body models, and more sex animations and kinks than anyone can know what to do with. Still, since it's sitting on top of such a lackluster game, the experience suffers as well no matter how many different sex positions are available. Characters never say "no". There's no real progression to speak of. Consequences for your actions are basically non-existent.
Basically if you want to make a great sex game, it needs to be a great game first. The sex must be a secondary element. No matter how good the body models are, and no matter how many sex positions are available, if you build it on top of a game that's not fun to play, it won't be fun to play.
