Overall the west have much better products to offer.

The Visit, Insexual Awakening, A Zombie's Life, Town Of Passion, Dreams Of Desire, Melody, Urban Demons, Zombie's Retreat, My Cute Roommate, Treasure Of Nadia, Dark Neighborhood all of this games are completed, yeah some of other completed titles feel rushed gotta give you that like Taboo Request.
The problem is the "devs" in the west for these kinds of games are too greedy, they never want to hire more people to work on a project and try to do it all by themselves, or the team is too small, so it never gets anywhere, and if they are "finished" the ending was rushed.

Don't know about Japan but admittedly the western adult community have a lot of scammers like Icstor, PsychoDelusional , MrZZ, Gumdrop, Whootch and so on and so forth.

In general japanese games are technically lagging behind, the west have much better products, especially when we talk about open world titles like GTA, RDR, Cyberpunk, the only thing where i see the japanese industry is above westeners is when it comes to free expression they don't let political correctnes dictate what they have to put into there games and what not.
But animations, physics, graphics, models, map & possibility whise western game world is far greater.
Okay one more thing: japan have better ideas but the implementation is horrible.
