are they atleast acknowledged by the dev, having issues in a long developed game is one thing and depending on how it got coded might be hard to change or balance but if the dev is ignorant about the reports its another thing, so far it seems not that the gameplay is really bad but more repetitive and to grindy which means just reducing some numbers might be enough to make stuff work for most players (havent played the game yet to have a good opinion on that and am a bit scared to try since a lot of people mention the big grind and that its not worth it)
Unless someone is being rude I read and listen to all feedback and have made a lot of changes and improvements to the game engine/UI/mechanics/content. The best way to let me know if you're having an issue is to post a report on my bugs feedback website, which is listed in the OP.
As for a grind, for some people having to press spacebar to advance a VN is a grind to them. I am not sure why they don't just watch some porn instead. My game does have a battle system that is admittedly a little clunky at times and I've done a lot to improve it over time, with more features scheduled once I'm at a better place with support that I don't need to take so many side jobs (thanks Patreon snitch), but that's another story.
I wanted players to feel like they are becoming more powerful as they level up and unlock new powers, so Kronos is pretty underpowered until at least your first level up or two, which is basically 10 enemies of equal level to level up. Is 10 minutes of fighting to level up 3 times and basically get to a point where you can handle almost anything in the game, maybe 15-20 minutes of battles over the progress of exploring, talking to people, encountering events, completing quests, stripping girls, etc in order to get to a place where you can now kill any enemy in the game a grind? I guess for some people. Some people just want a save with every scene already unlocked and the act of playing a game is a grind to them. That's fine, but it doesn't make a game bad, especially when my game, for all its little quirks, tries to break away from the format of 90% of the games on here (No shame to those other games. They know what makes the $$$) I've played some very popular games which have you repeatedly mowing lawns or doing little text battles over and over again, far more than the time you spend with my little isometric battles.
I've even ported one of the more popular scenes from Kronos Time Titan to Ren'Py and I have another one about to be released, which I know will make people who don't like my game mechanics, or who don't have Windows or a way to emulate on Linux, happy. So I do listen to and care about people who aren't having the best experience with my game.
Unfortunately I don't have a studio and I don't make nearly enough to work on my game full time and still pay for rent in California, which is very expensive. But I am proud of being a dev who continues to release new content month after month, even the month when Patreon dumped all of my supporters and I had to scramble to take a bunch of other jobs in order to pay for groceries and rent, I still released new content for both supporters and free players alike.
To address your fear of not wanting to play the game because of a grind, well, the game will save your XP, items, girls in your harem, money, and energy even if you don't play the game for a long time, then come back and update it to the latest version. The only progress you can potentially lose is when you rewind a timeline, which is part of the gameplay, so if you want to play and level up a couple of times, then drop the game for a few months and come back later, you can. It's a non-linear game so when I add new content it doesn't require you to play the entire game over from the start.
Do I still use Lewdpatcher for this version of the game? Because if so it's down for me.
That website seems to be working for me.
doesnt work, tells me this account is not a supporter, reopened the game and no auto password, cant play at all
Like the instructions say in the original thread as well as the "README FIRST - VERY IMPORTANT.txt" file, running ktt.exe will let you play the game without any sort of login. The game launcher login is just for supporters to automatically update to the latest version when a new update comes out, which is usually every 2 weeks. I wanted a special way to say thank you to people who support the time it takes to add new content every month, so I made a game launcher which allows supporters to update the game without having to download the entire zip file all over again.
