I can't add Mary as a companion even after giving her spellbook, i can't either make anyone else a companion, neither remove my actual companion, any one know how to fix it? I've download the last update and i'm using my save from the previous version, can be that?

See what happens if you rewind The End of Time. I had to make some changes to the way characters are classified as companions and I believe this requires the game to refresh all of the companions back to their beginning of timeline state. Please let me know if this works!

I did a complete clean install of Zorin, ran the Automatic WINE configuration, then started Kronos. I didn't even get out of the "end of time" when it crashed. Log attached
Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I've delivered the spellbook to her twice, each time it says she can become my companion, but it's locked when i try. I reset her, reset the timeline, no joy.

Well the new update just added checks for Fiddler.exe, to bypass this just rename the Fiddler.exe to anything else and the game wont be able to detect it.
Thanks for reporting this issue. In the latest updated I changed the classification for some of the companions in order to fix the bug where you could attack them in Castle Kronos and adjacent locations. I'm looking into this problem and will have an update available soon.
There are a couple of dependencies which need to be installed as well. I'm working on putting together a brief tutorial and after that a complete package to make it easier for players to install.
"Small review of the game"
- The game has like... 5.5y+.
- There are **still** many bugs in literally first maps / dialogs, which the Dev doesn't seem to be able to fix.
- The game often crashes/freezes for no apparent reason
- The **main feature** to reset timeline may not work properly, in rare cases even leading to hardlock.
- The first main quest - collecting the witches to handle a some guy (keeping it spoiler-free) - sometimes just doesn't register the girls you have collected making you redo the quests over and over showing different number of girls each time (fun, isn't it?)
- You never know what to do next. Your "main" quest is just "collect girls"
Review of engine:
The dev claims that "I want to support many platforms" - I will be harsh, but this sounds really like bs. You want to support like many flavours of Windows or what? If you were to use any proper game engine, even Ren'py (which in my honest opinion should be used for this kind of game) - you would have much better experience (both as dev and user) and would be more cross-platform than it is.
I WILL point out as well that the Dev is using encryption on files. Which looks kind of sketchy to me.
I will take above two points as - "I don't want people to see the assets so I will use my custom engine to encrypt them". (note: I did use correct word in here - i would understand if they were compressed in some way, but they are just encrypted)
Sum up:
The game looks like student project on student project game engine. While graphically it looks nice - the mechanics / gameplay / all-in-all experience is mediocre at best.
Really the only upsides is that it has the free version and the images do look nice. Other than that it is very underbaked game.

Hi! I have Problem, companions Menu in wardrobe is locked, even thogh i have mary in my castel and bring her spelbook, but in hestia chat, and in wardrobe, companion botton is locekd, how can I activate it or chaneg my companion to mary warren?
I didn't go in depth into looking into the internals of what game engine it is. During load it says "Cocksworth" so I take it as it is. If it's just edited Clickteam Fusion, so be it - it doesn't really change anything I have said.
Sorry for the trouble with the companions menu issues. In the previous update I changed the way companions were grouped in order to fix a bug that was treating the companions like enemies and you could attack them, along with making their Rewind option unavailable. I believe this issue is not present in brand new save files but I'm working on getting it fixed for everyone in the next update.
BUG REPORT: The issue with switching companions has been fixed and will be in the next update (probably tomorrow)
