I don't know if it's a base game issue or mod issue, but the overwear calculates the sluttiness assuming no underwear will be used. It's particularly wrong with skirts, except the really long one, since the pussy is assumed to be usable. The same goes for dresses.

Plus in general there's certain wonkiness, certain pieces of clothing have higher rating when using them that other pieces that have a higher rating on the choosing menu. An example are the denim shorts, which have higher rating than one of the supposedly sluttier shorts.

38.1 is out
That's great, I can't wait to be disappointed by the changelog :KEK:

Use the opinions cheat mod (p-key), delete the opinion (red x) and reset it (click + twice).

I've definitely seen these opinions get "stuck" that way. Bug that hasn't been tracked down.

When installing the Bugfix, the game crashes without even starting and it tells me this:

I'm sorry, but errors were detected in your script. Please correct the
errors listed below, and try again.

The label check_insta is defined twice, at
File "game/game_roles/role_insta.rpy", line 63 and
File "game/internet.rpy", line 95.

The label check_dikdok is defined twice, at
File "game/game_roles/role_dikdok.rpy", line 23 and
File "game/internet.rpy", line 101.

The label view_insta is defined twice, at
File "game/game_roles/role_insta.rpy", line 81 and
File "game/internet.rpy", line 112.

I'm rather confused.

Downloaded a fresh install version of 38.1.
Downloaded the most recent March 15th "Code" zip of the "bugfix" (not the "master"), which has an "Updated: v0.38.1" commit on it on March 13th as well (and additional commits after that).
Downloaded the most recent "develop" branch of the mod, which likewise has commits for 0.38.1

Installed in that order, getting the "You are running the game without bugfix installed" error message on a New Game start.

Nani? Help, Tristim-sama, you are my only hope!

Edit: Please ignore :)

The Bugfix for 38.1 is not yet ready.

You would need to download the BETA of both the bugfix and the mod to play 38.1

It is actually working pretty well.

See the OP in the first page of this thread, and look for the BETA spoiler section.

For clarity's sake, here are the links I've used:

Bugfix:
Mod:

As far as I'm aware, both of these are the "beta" branches (basically develop depo with most recent changes, and issues).

Clean installation on new 0.38.1 download results in the "You are running the game without the bugfix installed" error message when starting a new game. Old saves result in errors (which, really, is to be expected with any code expansion).

Edit: All right, did a BETA link installation, that worked. Figured why not, did the installation the same way I did before (direct depo downloads), and... that also worked.

Clearly a PEBCAK issue, but I have no idea how I managed to bork it up, several times, before, with fresh installs to boot. Oh well, in the end I get to mess with most current version, so all's well :)

Tristim You might want to look into this (posted on the lr2 thread):

A big portion of the "Added" content in this release, the InstaPic/DikDok/OnlyFanatics content, isnt hooked up.
The events exist for girls that meet the requirements to create an account and inform your character of the account, allowing you to follow them.

The events were coded, and the requirements for the events were coded, but the events themselves we never added to the potential pool of events that can occur.

Surprisingly, the 'Bugfixers' didn't catch it. (Sarcasm, I'm not at all surprised they didn't catch it (n).)
Throw the file attached in your 'game' directory to hook up the missing events.
Keep in mind though, the events only occur when you talk to a woman, assuming they meet the appropriate slut/love/relationship requirements, and don't show up on the map, similar to other random on_talk events like the workplace 'masturbating at their desk' event.
So just talk to people and eventually you'll get lucky. Overall, the requirements make the events fairly uncommon/rare. This is the only way to currently legitimately see DikDok/OnlyFanatics content, as your sister (and mother) is prevented from making either of the accounts (for narrative reasons).
Link to post (has attachment for a fix) https://f95zone.to/threads/lab-rats-2-v0-38-1-vren.7260/page-305#post-5335718

Unless you did already of course. Thanks (y)
