Every new update seems to make this game worse not better, and the character designs are still a terrible as they've always been.
2025-07? What is this, a version from the future? We're still in month 4.
By the way, who should I complain to about the bugs? What are those black and white spots the girls have in their crotches? They're more noticeable when they're wearing pants... I think those spots didn't appear in previous versions. And when are they going to fix the holes in the clothes? They could probably be fixed without too much trouble with an image editing program.

The birth control talk is tied to the speed in which events occur, a choice you make in the beginning. If you're seeing 15 days then you chose the marathon setting as it uses the

*EDIT: There's actually another check in the code that prevents the talk from happening irregardless of the time delay, although this one may be a by-product of how the mechanic is handled. In
chat_actions.rpy on lines 1108 and 1126 are a second set of checks using an "event delay" function (see spoiler). I assume this is intended to prevent rapidly changing a girl's birth control in a single week by delaying the talk for 7 days. I think it's not about this specifically, but each content update adding more hard barriers, making the game more linear.
I once did stuff for this game. Due to the lead dev (Starbuck's) bitchy attitude and her intolerance as to me trying to tell them that they had an odd way of using Git for developing games, leading to lots of errors in the dev versions that should have been fixed prior to commits, she banned me from the Discord and lost my support and knowledge.
Due to that attitude, I suggest you wait for a future, properly developed alternative...

This version is the version on the OP plus all the good working mods including the Real Porn mod.
As for the bugs its best to report them on the Discord site.
Yeah, the slightly longer version is that Vren (the original author) made it so that there's an image file of every body type in every pose. I think that things like boob size or visible pregnancy are hot-swappable on the nude "paper doll" image, but don't quote me on that as it's been for-goddamn-ever since I looked.
Then on top of that, each clothing item had to get modeled on each of those poses, on each of those body types, in each "state" it can be in (e.g. shirt on is different from shirt on but tits out). BUT, unlike with the body where you can just have a how-swappable box for different tit or belly sizes, each upper-body thing had to be rendered separately (because the shirt or bra or dress or whatever will potentially look VERY different on a girl with A-cups than if she's rockin' some GGs).
That's a big part of why the last few "official" clothing items that got added were functionally reskins of existing ones - patterned shirts, stuff with words on it, etc. Way easier to add since the files are all right there already & just need tweaked.
I'm not gonna claim to be a programmer by any stretch of the imagination, but I can't honestly think of a better way to have a system where any given NPC (with a default population of like 70 or 80? I think?) can have a functionally unique outfit (accounting for things like color, style, transparency level, etc) that is accurately depicted on-screen. Hell, look at HHS+ - they've got a kind of similar system, but they stuck to "you get one set of pre-made, not-modifiable outfits that change depending on how lewd everything is (but which are all still pre-made and not truly dynamic) and also everything is on a 2D person who is standing up and facing the camera head-on with MAYBE their arms in a different pose then the identically-outfitted person next to them". Less dynamic system, far more restrictive interaction with NPCs - BUT, if you want to add a new set of outfits, it's way easier.
So that's the tradeoff I guess. And while yes, obviously you could instead do something in full 3D (like, idk, name-an-Illusion-game), Vren was one dude making this in Ren'py - not a whole-ass studio with an actual engine and such. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm pretty sure there is a separate full-body paper doll for each breast size. Not sure about pregnancy because that's not my kink, so I never paid much attention to those images. But regardless of the specifics, the crux of your point is still completely valid. There are a shit-ton of images that would need to be re-rendered for any new graphics to be in the game.
There really should be a message to that effect included in the OP.
Trist/Starbuck have done an amazing job of turning this into a game engine. With a little patience and time, you can make your own modifications to this game. My personal mod I'm making changes the game away from serums to a more supernatural explanation. No more giving serums to girls and instead relying on the 'mc serum' system for your advantage.

There is already a DAZ rework on-going that is spearheaded by EOfkwbno. Please do not spam his discord or forum account asking when it'll be done (the answer is "soon (TM)").
For anyone feeling peeved about the current models you can use the GenAI Mod by Maswoo (found on LR2 discord, mod-releases). If that's also not to your liking then I suggest you unwatch this thread and search for another project that has what you're looking for.

It's an "on-the-fly" mod using Stable Diffusion to create the renders. No base files are modified, but it's GPU bound in the sense that you're generating renders with the AI model.
