What do you mean by new images? GenAI? If you download the modpack it'll have the realporn mod (doesn't affect models, just videos overlayed on sex scenes). There's also a DAZ model rework in the making but no ETA on it, it's close allegedly. If you're talking about GenAI, it gets fairly technical to make it work

Where is this modpack file located? I can't seem to find it, and the download area on page 1 doesn't seem to list it. I'm sure its somehow obvious, but I really tried to find it!

If you've got access to a suitable desktop you can run the Stable Diffusion server on that and connect over wi-fi to play the game on a more modest laptop.

GenAI stuff has now been moved to this thread and I'm unlikely to keep up with posts on this one for much longer.

Here's a new dev build,

The release notes haven't been updated since July so I don't know what improvements I'm supposed to be looking forward to and am yet to spot any.

But I can confirm the previous version save files are now useless.

I can also confirm the energy system for sexual encounters is borked. You can keep fucking straight through orgasms without the benefit of Ashley's viagra energy serum and as long as you stick to one position you can keep fucking forever even with both you and your partner on zero energy. Nice job if you can get it.

I'd have thought that before releasing an update of a porn game it might be a good idea to test whether the fucking works properly. But what would I know?

Sounds like a recipe for convincing newcomers to the game they'd come to the wrong place.

I don't mind alpha testing software I like, but I'd appreciate a heads-up that's what I'll be doing before I start doing it.
Some sort of arrangement whereby I know what sort of feedback is wanted (and will be listened to) would also be nice.

But distributing untested dev code to people who are currently running something reliable without making it clear to them - even calling it 'beta' when it's no such thing - is thought a bit inconsiderate where I come from.

I quite clearly stated Dev build and saves won't work. You don't have to download these things

I think the issue Crudi is talking about is it got linked in the OP download links (rather than just being made available) as the current version of mod pack, which would make new players think this is the current state of the game rather than a dev build in-between major releases which hasn't fixed some things it broke yet.

IIRC the sex shop owner will tell you that she got approached to buy it but tells you it's better if you're the one to get it. This will point you in the right direction, but I don't remember off the top of my head what the exact dependencies are: advancing her quest to a certain point, etc. If you're still stuck lmk and I'll dig through some of my save files to see if I can find when it triggered

I agree with what you say in principle but there's pretty well understood and widely accepted stages in

. What you're calling a 'dev build' and what OverlordCW calls 'not an official release' should be considered a prelaunch alpha test version and not labelled 'beta'. It certainly shouldn't overwrite the real beta version in the official download link.

And if you really want sandbox participants to meaningfully contribute to testing you need to include release notes that tell them what they're testing and set up clear procedures and feedback measures so their tests can properly inform the devs and they can know it's making a difference.
