The imaging in v0.52 is incomplete. Only one standing pose is available and not all clothing items are rendered. I think the new images show promise to be an improvement but are a ways from ready yet.
Looks on par with current images, if not a little better, IMO.These are a couple screenshots from the new version. Vren said its still a work in progress (can't even talk to Stephanie b/c her rendered outfit crashes the game). Personally I'm not a fan but I think the purpose was that this would allow for more diverse characters/clothing. Also the UI runs about 75% worse in this build, granted it is still listed as a "tech demo".
Looks like there's so far only one model that Vren's managed to import into the game. The lighting is all borked though. These are a couple screenshots from the new version. Hope things get worse before they get better cause this ain't cutting it.These are a couple screenshots from the new version. Less work in terms of art assets but I wonder if porting the code into an engine that probably doesn't support ren'py would get dicey. Not a programmer so I can't sayI can't help thinking that porting the entire game to Unity would probably be less work with better result.
Different work in terms of art assets - you have to be very careful with texture size and mesh complexity in a 3d engine compared to throwing pre-rendered images on the screen. Also yes, the code would be a complete rewrite since Unity is C# (or JS), not Python. But it would need a large lift to get back to the features that RenPy gives for free. That is, Unity is much more barebones than Ren'Py.Less work in terms of art assets but I wonder if porting the code into an engine that probably doesn't support ren'py would get dicey. I was more thinking in the lines of recreating it in Unity.Less work in terms of art assets but I wonder if porting the code into an engine that probably doesn't support ren'py would get dicey. Not a programmer so I can't say
Looks WAY worse than current IMHO. They all look dead.Looks on par with current images, if not a little better, IMO.
That is not necessarily a bad thing in everyone's bookLooks WAY worse than current IMHO. They all look dead.
I think that is just the lighting, new models seem to have a massive light in front of them.Looks WAY worse than current IMHO. They all look dead.
Ah.. let's make sure we get fleshed out upgraded/detailed humans first. Will there ever be a pets mod?
Not from the main mod team, I can guarantee thatWill there ever be a pets mod?
I can hear them scream NTR!!! already... and I mean both the Fans and Haters... so please noHoping if the new system works out in the end they'd be able to add male body types. Have the models interact in the sexy scenes. Also sissification and futa would be possible
I mean so far nobody seems to have a problem with optionally making Jennifer seduce her boss or one of the employees the investorI can hear them scream NTR!!! already... and I mean both the Fans and Haters... so please no
