Porn's porn. Games are games.

Porn games are better when they mix both right. A gallery can be useful, but it takes out 80% the fun (context, story, challenge, etc.). It's a cherry on top of a cake; if you just wanna pick cherries don't bother playing games, much less criticizing them.

Speaking of Galleries, i'd say it depends what kind of game it is, more precisely, where the sexy part is placed, if it's a game where the sexy stuff only happens when you "Die" (let's be honest, in porn games it's usually less "died" and more "fucked unconscious" i'd very much appreciate it if i unlock the full gallery if i beat the game. i don't wanna look at a game-over screen just to rub one out.

if it's more to the tune of "search for the sexy stuff" i don't mind the time-sink so long it's well done and entertaining and encourages exploration, and if thats the case, i'm alright with unlocking the gallery piece by piece.

I dig the gallery system in games like Rignetta's Adventure or Super Mamono Sisters, with tons of enemies and multiple animations depending on circumstances (ie. numer of the same enemies nearby).

Here we have two enemies and linear animation progression. You can find both of them in the very first level.

Especially if it is a rogue-like where you need to fully respec and start over each time you die. I would also demand a gallery mode that, at a minimum, unlocks the girls introduced each level after you have progressed past that level at least once.

The dev went with a very, very complicated design. Quality over quantity? Either way it's not likely the game will come out this decade (meaning not before 2030, or close by). That's the way it is; deal with it, or out with your "update when?"s. This is no easy money VN/RPGM scam; comes with downsides too :) Waiting in the dark being one.

I thought he quit because he was a crybaby (and racist to non asian consumers of his game) that his game was here even MTL'd

Dude, he was racist and what he did was doxing (And over nothing to boot). If a dev acts like this they should be called out on it smh.
