Try loading up the old save.
If that doesn't work, I guess there's something wrong with the game.
Download version 9.0 again, delete the old save and start again.

If it is yellow you missed a necessary step to unlock new scene. Can't tell you though what you missed.

I ran into this problem as well, but I have a fresh copy with no older save to try reloading. I also noticed that the text window loads up the conversation with your Aunt if she's on the flight deck and you've already seen her event for the day.
