What I don't get is why the title is in Japanese. ZXC is Chinese (Taiwanese to be exact) and DLSite has options for english and the game has had a english title since the beginning.
That small quip aside, is the game actually a game that is functionally playable (no game breaking bugs, a definite beginning and end, clear and understandable progression, all that jazz) or are we just better off ripping the CG images like usual ?
The guy was pulling in some real money last I check, just can't understand why he can't bother to get a programmer to do a one off fixing of the game before he release it. It would actually get more people to subscribe.

There are 2 options, he want money all for himself, or he's the type of guy that think only him can touch his work because others will ruin it
The dlsite version is heavily censored. It is extremely annoying and i took no pleasure playing it.

p.s not every thing is about money, and working with people can be very hard.
I would if I know that I am not getting a half completed product like all the beta versions and the earlier alpha versions.

The game needs a lot of work. The amount of bugs and errors due to poor coding is a major turnoff for people which is a shame since if these problems were fixed it would be a great game. However I don't think this game was meant to be treated as a game, it seems to act more as a gallery for his art which clearly has more priority than the actual function of the game. I hope that with future games he will try to fix past mistakes but it would probably be better to find someone who focuses on coding and gameplay while ZXC focuses on the art. If this did happen then I would be exited for any new projects but right now my expectations are pretty low for the future.

Dude it's all about money. I'm a programmer, you can write a shitty code all you want, but if you pay me to fix it there are no problems. Also if you say he's scared about people steal it, there are already people doing that with the Advanced version, because it's easy to reverse engineering any sort of rpg maker game, even I do it sometimes to fix bugs myself to go on with games, or to cheat because I'm too lazy (not this game tho, this is already easy ever if super bugged)

first, my point is not really aim for him/this projec/rpg maker game, my point is aim for overall game, as there is always alot of problem in making a game,
your point on the money , is that if you got alot of money anything can be make/fix. well i can't disagree on that but , then why so many game got so many bug?

The problems with bugs is that RPG Maker give the possibility to people that have 0 knowledge about programming to make their own game, the problem is that they don't have a programming mindset, they are artist, more creative, instead programming need more thinking, logic.
Or you learn how to program, or ask another person/team do for you, and if you don't wanna that then stop making games, write a story, it's better

Aside wasn't an attack towards you, even if you asked permission you just took his game, reversed engineer and heavily mod it, so basically it's stealing since you didn't create something new and entirely yours. But again, not a problem for me, I think zxc should hire you instead of keep throwing this mess and make even you pay for it, which it's an insult
OK, so modding a game with explicit (in this case) or implicit (in the case of games like Skyrim) is NOT stealing. Not creating something new =/= stealing.
This is an honestly crazy mindset in my opinion. Do you consider someone posting free fan fiction stealing? How about any of the parody games (porn and otherwise)? Where is the line between allowed use, fair use, and theft fall?
Hell, even in terms of pure coding if you get source code / code examples posted for free online that are open source / free to use. Are those stealing? Especially if you have / are required to post the source of the code in the project.
