It's always refreshing to see someone who works for the dev calling freeloaders to people complaining without knowing for sure if those people are supporters or not.

It's just Dev's development style. He always keeps quiet a week or two before the release. But this time the update is much bigger than usual, so I won't be surprised if he needs a month to finish it after the last post.
The main thing is that the situation does not develop into the situation with the game Lily of the Valley. There, too, it began with postponements of release dates of updates, then periodic computer breakdowns began, then there was a disagreement between the developers, then the game died.

Should we understand that obra doesn't care about the people who donate 1$, they are just suckers to be exploited. Maybe his financial means allow him to do so, I think both those who support less and those who support more can criticise.

I don't follow this game much but it's quite funny to see how the Dev said "next week" 12 weeks ago.
Estimation just is not his best side. But the game till now was great. Will see what he is preparing.

A lot of these independent devs are new to software/game development and work more on coding than project estimation.

This is not a peace and friendly world these years, let's be more patient for the masterpiece. I appreciate the hardworking of the author, even not publishing anything here is up to you. But I suggest you keep your word and let us know the progress if you really want to get some fans here.
the art work and movement of said art work takes time and a lot of code so there might be hi cups down the line

Hey come on, he's a good developer who has always been good to his followers. He's always releasing long, satisfying updates at good intervals. Just because 1 update is delayed more than expected, it's not nice to make these accusations against him.Even 1 dollar is too much for this performance and lying
