Didn't expect this to be so good, dare I say being a dik level although pretty slow but enjoyable. Dev was cooking when he made the teachers and the rest of the girls aren't bad either. Anyone know how long each update takes?

I tried to give this another chance after the "totattly realiastic behavior" from god damn adult aged college women going to a "good school" to be lawyers but to have it go from that to generic "drama" with the childhood friend (which one messed up the room applications), to thinking that the "bully" somehow changed her clothes and somehow got tot room before him despite both of them going more or less directly there..... but i guess thats in line with the "intelligent" MC who thinks that picking up a basketball (and not moving from where he picked it up) is somehow stealing, why it would be a good idea to chase a girl who is running from you (how did that girl even outrun a high school athlete lol), or even being told not to run in the first place? :KEK: is he an intelligent lawyer going to a university or a child going to his first day of middle school (thinking picking up a random toy is stealing, chasing girls, following the teachers directions despite him literally just moving faster than walking despite him being late on the first day......)

i know it has a "high rating" because it looks visually pleasing and (right now) the updates arent a year apart but god damn what are people smoking to say this is a good story? Its not even a competent set up in universe, the mc is your generic gary stu, his "failures" are only there to advance the plot in illogical ways (being outran by a photographer despite him being former basketball player, following the random ladies orders that he say on the video (Teacher or TA?), whatever the "blackmail" was about etc

There are better looking games, there are better looking games that are about a gary stu at a college, there are games with better story and characters, there are games with better stores and characters that take place during the opening weeks of a college freshmens new enrollment, there are games that are better at being related to law/enforcement Hell there are even games that are much more believable and realistic as "lawyer porn games", I honestly cant think of a single thing this game does that puts it above average (as in its competent coded/running) with basically everything besides the visuals being subpar

wait this might be the best game involving an MC who claims to play(ed) basketball but we never see a full game.......but the only one in that category is WVM...... :HideThePain:

Well, simply put, different people have different opinions. The cynic in me says that your post is just trying to bait people, picking out some really small parts of the opening portion of the game and making them into something more than (IMO) they are. Even if that's not your intention, it's just your opinion, and that's fine. My opinion is that there's a great game here, with a good story to match the fab graphics. So I'm happy.

Im not? If anything the cynic in me says that someone that has almost 50% of their favorite games be "college freshmen wants for little as they gain a harem before the end of the first semester" (even ones that i think do it better like Elmwood) means that you are the one being biased/disingenuous, what are you supposed to judge at the start of the game if not the scenes shown in the start of the game? It wouldn't be such an issue if it was just one example (like i said i wanted to give another chance), but its not just once its back to back to back to back things that dont make sense in universe (not by logic or porn logic) and make the "good story" laughable.

A second issue is I was able to give multiple examples as to "poor storytelling" as well as why they dont make sense in universe and you respond with "i think they are good", not saying how any of the "small things" (several of which are introduction to LI but sure they are small), or even providing evidence that I missed, for example maybe i missed the line where the university is somehow able to expel people if they run in buildings? Which scenes made you laugh? Which ones tugged at your cold dead feelings heart? Like I said this wouldnt be an issue if this was just "dumb hung college kid showes up to be porn protag" ths biggest problems come from the dissonance between how we are "supposed" to see people/MC and what we are shown

In the future it would make your point much stronger if you could provide evidence as to why you think the way you do, responding to the other parties points beyond the fact that "i like it so its ok", and starting with less passive aggressive than "i think your trolling because you disagree with me but in case you arent......." only serves to further the idea that you want to defend the game not talk about it or others (disagreeing) opinions. Am I a troll because i stopped when multiple other people did? Or is it because I gave the game a second chance only to find more or the same? Once again stopping when other people did and have posted about...... or am i troll because i "insulted" a game you like by mostly saying how their are games that every individual part (and multiple parts) better?

Edit: Thinking about it thats not the only issues is not the dissonance around the MCs intelligence/performance, multiple of the things i pointed out would not play out the same way in the "modern" post 2010 world (tech, social climate etc)

Would "basic" college girls laugh at an attractive dude holding a bear (next to a fucking girl for godsakes) or take a picture/video for those sweet sweet online interactions? or more likely ingore it and watch the verbal shouting match hoping for that sweet sweet worldstar clout?
Would two friends somehow divide up responsibilities exclusively without a paper trail? or would they text each other and thus the sistuation makes no sense

I think this game is good just because of the character interactions and I love some of humor like from Jack the security guard. Storywise yeah don't care about anything yet

I think it's just that this game isn't for you, it happens but just because you don't like it doesn't mean others can't enjoy it.

Most of those complaints are just nitpicks, outrunning protagonist? Not hard to do considering there already was some distance and we stopped running once inside, Not realizing Andrea and Lana aren't the same? Honest mistake also she had arrived earlier to the campus so I don't think it's too crazy to think that she could have travelled to our room faster considering protagonist and Rose were busy following directions and could have stopped at any point.

Up until now we have mostly been introduced to the characters and the focus have been on the slice of life mostly with maybe some hints about possibles future drama, if this has failed to catch your interest it's ok to move on.

I don't agree on putting this on above average I think there has been a lot of effort and there is a lot of potential here.

Come on, i enjoy the game and think its good but he has some good points lol

The bullying (Aurora&Andrea) and esp this basketball subplots shouldnt exist. Not everything has to be super serious but these things didnt even added humour, its was just really really dumb and senseless :ROFLMAO:

The supposedly prodigy lawyer student, ready to fight for worldwide justice ... is afraid he broke the law because he picked a basketball up..... really nobody can say that this isnt just really really stupid :ROFLMAO:o_O this is especially dumb as it is about law itself.

And why did it even happen, only for the mc to be "caught running" in the university :BootyTime:

The mc being this prodigy and everyone considering him as that but at the same time so incredibly naive, soft and very kid-like doesnt really fit together. He seems so ... sheltered like hes from some religious sect or something.

As i said, i enjoy this avn and it has a lot of fun and good parts but there are unbelieavable stupid little things which make you wonder why the dev felt the need to add that.

Edit: The Mike guy is way more belieavable than the MC, this guy wouldnt piss his pants over picking up a basketball :p

Its actually pretty good about the legal terms and stuff. That along makes it stand out to me. Better than "spelling tests" with 3 letter words for a college English class

See this is an much much much much better reply for all the reason i told the other guy his wasnt :KEK: we can have a legit discussion

Considering I was a photo nerd it might be personal bias that i would not be able to outrun a basketball captain, but maybe the distance shown was longer than I thought? Personally I thought they were close enough for MC to speak as opposed to yelling at however the idea that MC thinks he is going to be punished for "stealing" yet wont risk "running in the halls" to get clarification is a tad bit silly no? You are correct though in it being more nitpicky though.

The twins thing i think is a valid critique though as it doesnt make any sense if the world is "real" in the sense that places connect lol. MC gets "bullied" by twin A outside of his dorm hall, he then goes straight to his dorm hall to talk to the lady to get his room, the """"drama"""" between him and friend happens and he walks directly to his room there is no mention of them going other places and the directions (tour?) dont take place until later?, Twin B is already chilling in different clothes clearly relaxed (did not sprint her ass up there lol), This is mostly an issue because the MC is "supposed" to be intelligent, I would cringe if my lawyer literally could not tell twins apart regardless of their locations/times/clothes :HideThePain:

Edit: In game (got it out of recycle bin to see lol) after MC leaves the desk he "goes up the stairs to the right, then takes an elevator to the floor his dorm is on. he then watches a few second (not the whole thing) of an ad featuring the no running lady, IMO there is no skips shown, nor does the lighting ever seem to change which would fit into the games graphics (the part of the game with best/most work put in) that could show the passage of time, so i do think its weak writing

SOL can carry entire games multiple "top ranked" games rely on it almost entirely so its not that its SOL that rubs me the wrong way, there are comparable games (similar settings, similar irl release times, similar setup etc) that have more characters (both introduced in the first chapter and x2-x3 as many overall) that are still able to make the story/characters more believable (random unexplained supernatural gameplay powers excluded :BootyTime:)

Its good to hear that because the first dream sequence didnt really fill me with hope (even before tits) but I couldnt count that against it since it was a dream and so it being "generic lawyer show #126" makes sense, but you need to be honest.... those collge tests also had you spell a few 5-6 letter words too :KEK:

I agree on everything. I think MC is the weakest point of this game...

I mean, he's like two different persons. On one hand, you have the one of the epic speeches and who's resolutive. On the other, he behaves like a comedy character, ranging between childlish and utterly unbelieable behaviour for someone who claims he'll be "the best lawyer in America".

The blackmail. So tired of that plot... Please, finish it.
Getting dragged to the city (skipping classes BTW), by Aurora just to see one movie... (Why can't we say "no thanks, not interested. Bye").
The library scene where you discover the two teachers... Dude, just go away. Don't stay peeping... Of course, you get spotted
The dressing room + shower scene with Miranda... Hilarious for a comedy, but not for a dude who pretends to be taken seriously.
All in all MC is an inconsistent character.

That said, it only detracts 1* for me, from 5* to 4*. Second-tier AVN's. Easily a top tier if MC was more coherent.

So far, the MC being good at basketball doesn't seem to have plot relevance, either. Which is fine, tbh. He doesnt need to be a star player on the college basketball team (apparently the school doesnt even have a team but there's probably a "yet" in there).

The male characters seem to be well-written, some of the dialogue is pretty good. I think this game has great potential if the author doesn't try for some complex revenge plot or make the best friend some secret spy or there's somehow a money-laundering scheme going on. It can just be a competently made, well-written, slice-of-life plot with some slightly unrealistic plot devices
