The developers of Summer Heat should be utterly ashamed. 16 months without an update. All we ever hear are excuses.
I long since lost interest in that, for me it doesn't justify the wait time between updates. Also lets be honest, when Summer Heat came out people were impressed by the render quality. But now I think that Law School looks just as good, if not better.

Oh, don't even get me started on Summer Heat

I'm probably still going to play it when the next update comes out (or rather if it comes out, and it's a big IF) but like Justaphase said - there's at least a couple of games that like just as good, Law School included, so it lost a lot of its allure.

I gave up on Summer Heat because I felt ripped off. I have absolutely no problem paying for a product as long as I get something in return and feel respected. But hearing "we polish that...we polish this" every week really fuck me. I'm not expecting absolute perfection, I just found the story interesting. Look at this dedicated developer, Maya. He has no problem releasing an update every few months, and it's really good quality with a very exciting story. I'm happy to support something like that.

I agree. Even though I needed a second playthrough of the Entrepreneur to really enjoy it, both that one and Law School were very enjoyable to play with interesting stories and great characters. It also helps that the renders are of a consistent high quality and the playtime is pretty long for the dev time (especially if you play through it as intended, aka not using mods).

Looking good really, just at the beginning and already the dialogs are top for the genre, seems to be interesting personnalities to interact with, enough potentials nice LI.
For once the 4.5 stars are not bait

I really like the writing and overall story. Especially the resolution of season 1.

Spoiler ahead:

But what irks me is Lana and Andrea. This chapter revealed that the source of andrea being a bitch is, at least according to lana, a misunderstanding. Lana states that before a certain party Andrea confides in Lana that she is crushing on a certain guy, a mutual friend, for which Lana has no feelings. Andrea plans to ask him out on that party or something along those lines. Now, Lana prior to this gets pulled into a room by said guy for unrelated matters and it happens that Andrea walks in on them and feels betrayed. Understandable so far.

Now what gets me is that Lana apparently doesn't make a real effort to clear up this misunderstanding. She claims the reason why she was in the room with him is unrelated but she promised to keep the reason a secret. And at this point I can't imagine a secret from a random friend that is worth destroying the relationship to my twin sister. Seriously, this sounds so stupid. Just explain the situation. This also is some time in the past now. Call this friend and tell him keeping this secret destroyed your relationship to your sister. At least ask if you can lift the secret. Or ask the friend to contact andrea to clear up the misunderstanding.

Maybe there will be more to it, maybe Lana is lying or omitting things but so far this sounds like a typical romcom idiot plot that only exists because two parties refuse to communicate or act like normal humans.

easy.. guy is gay.. want come out.. confide in Lana, Asks her to keep secret.. Lana keeps it even from Andrea.. this makes Andrea even more suspicios and so on.. the war begins..

eddited:
Why trust Lana and not Andrea? Lana seems to be more open minded and judges others' decisions less. Andrea, on the other hand, seems to be quite the opposite... she's full of prejudices toward others , also Andrea seems to like goships.. so pretty easy she would tell everybody the guy is gay.

Why the guy is afraid of comming out? easy: even nowadays there are lots of prejudices against lgbtq+ comunity.. so he prefer to keep his peace instead of revealing he likes guys.

Quite reasonable assumption of the secret but I honestly still don't believe that it's a secret worth killing your relationship with your sister with. And like I said, even if that was the secret: at least have the guy help clear the misunderstanding, which is possible without spilling the secret.

Though honestly, Andrea and Lana were living in the same house at that point. Andrea should have known that Lana and guy were not having something after the party so I honestly still don't see the reason for her hatred. I hope there is a reason because "Andrea hates her because the story needs an evil bitch" is kinda lame.

if the guy spend lots of time with Lana.. its easy to asume they have something.. they were teens.. pure hormones and not thinking straight.. ive seen friendships break for just not replaying a question ( a important one) so as far as we saw how andrea is ( pushy and bitchy) i find it pretty reasonable ( in her mind) to asume her sister betrayed her.. hence not friends anymore. Remember we are talking about teenagers.. on their early teenages.. and whey their sexual life is starting.. they tend to be quite extreme and dramatik.. just remember what andrea told ( as a comment) when u got Aurora picture.. ( you at least has taste in arts).. like she knows anything about arts at that age XD

Yeah imo it's worth playing. I don't think the story itself is as interesting as in Law School, but that might be because in general I like college-based AVNs over post-college Slice of Life AVNs. However the characters are at least just as fun, plus you can see the "origin story" of 3 cameos (Valentine, Will's brother or nephew (can't remember which of the two it was) and Law School's MC's favorite actress (always forgetting her name)) we've seen in Law School, plus the hairdresser mentioned by I believe Lana in her Facegram. The sex scenes are also pretty hot.

If you play The Entrepreneur, you'll met her, she's in both VN's. I like both games althoug in Law School you notice a significant improvement in quality.
