Thanks mate... it was a long time ago but you never forget them - or the shit that they went through... it certainly made me appreciate my simple life a whole lot more!! Even though people are gone, it's the importance of them & the awareness of what depression can do NEVER leaves you.

This game is simply brilliant... as soon as my next paycheck comes through, gonna just dump $100 on Drifty as a thank you!
(it's also fucking sexy & hot as hell!! :devilish:)
As you are playing the other paths, if you are like me and usually mute the sound, turn it back on for this one! The soundtrack complements the story and its emotional mood superbly!

Just incase you missed that on your first play through!

Hahaha! It's funny you say that bud... I almost always play with sound muted but I was advised that this is one game where you have the sound on - it is now the ONLY game I play with sound ON!! LMAO!!!!

You are dead on about the story being the main driving force of the game. I actually found myself wishing that there was a SFW version that I could share with people who weren’t into the porn aspect.

If the ‘hidden’ actions you are talking about is later being blindsided by Steph’s reveal, or Linda’s reveal that she still liked the MC the entire time he was with Steph… yeah, that’s been discussed at length.

Personally, I still believe that Drifty did it that way for the realism. Often in life we are forced to make choices before we have all the information. But also as he said after the intercession about his daughter, this is a game. And the great thing about a game is that unlike life, you get to go back and make different choices.

One final thing that I would also say, is that when you go back through and play different routes, if you didn’t listen to the music as you played previously, make sure you turn it up and listen. The soundtrack only enhances the emotional connection to the game and it’s characters.

The soundtrack is also on Spotify as “Leap of Faith Soundtrack” if you ever want to listen to it outside of the game.

Anyway, have fun playing with yourself, I mean by yourself, I mean… well, just have fun! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Hidden actions: The reveals are totally fine. I meant it from the aspect like realising I could pick up cigarettes or there were message opportunities without any visual cue. I just didn't know there were these options and I found myself continuously going back to my phone to see if I missed anything.
Then on the other hand, might have been a contemporary criticism of the dev on how people are glued to their phone ‍♂ :D.

And I did play with the music on, it does enhance the gameplay feeling significantly. I even spent time on creating a playlist on Spotify, not expecting there already being one

glad to hear that the word is out about that. If you find yourself liking the songs, or if you want to here 235 Are You Alive during the Limo scene, there is a "Leap of Faith Soundtrack" on Spotify that contains all the songs from the VN including 235.

Ah I see what you meant by the hidden actions now.

hahaha, sorry you went to that trouble. I try to regularly post and remind people about the soundtrack on there. It's not my soundtrack, I just love that I can rock out to these songs, especially Hit The Ground Running anytime I want to.

Mad Props to Englen for making that Soundtrack!

Probably. Even Michelangiolo painted the Sistine Chapel just once, but he also made a big chunk of all time art masterpieces of the history of manking.

If next game is not going to be LoF it doesn't mean it won't be a great game. Let's wait and see. So far Drifty has earned a lot of good faith.
if (well when) next game will be even half as good as lof it'll be good game.

Not sure you needed the parenthesis though, your statement was correct on it's own without the condition modifier.

The "if" at the beginning of the statement doesn't bring into question the possibility of there not being a next game, such as "if he makes another game. Instead, it is simply the first half of an If-Then statement.
The "then" is an implied then occurring between "lof" and "it'll" this becomes even more evident when you replace the phrase "next game" with the next game's name...

for example... If u4ia is even half as good as Leap of Faith, then it will be a good game!

Who should I romance Chris with? Linda and Holly were the two I remember that had the choice of romancing Chris I think.
I'll be honest, I chose not to but since I'm gonna restart after downloading the completed version, I'm going to.

They and Robin all are valid depending on who you pick. Linda's the easy choice unless you are on her path. Holly is harder unless you're with Lexi ('cause it leaves her alone). But if you're willing to keep your hands off Kira and Robin, setting him up with Robin is a good thing.

Chris becomes a lucky man!! And no mater who you choose, at least choose someone… he’s a good friend, do your bro a solid!

Since i went for Linda's route, it was an easy choice for me :p

And yes, i didn't go after Cece. At the beginning i was going to, but then when i really got into the game i realized i felt obliged to go for Cece, by the situation, and i didn't really want to. While the scene of the first night at Lexi's when you are on the sofa with Linda remembering the old times, it was all so natural that i was sure if i was the MC she would have been the woman i wanted in my life. If nothing else, because she is a person you can be yourself with, which is one of the things i love the most in my real life mate.

Imho Cece is meant to be, to some degree, an outsider in the story. She, far more then the MC, is the glue that took that unlikely group of people togetfer and who kept them together through good times and harsh times.

As revealed in the end of the game, MC never saved Cece from her first attempt. She 'postponed' the attempt when she realized she met a bunch of people who needed her help.

And this is why LoF is not one story, but it's a bunch of separated storied that clashed togheter around Cece, who, in return, is the one who has not a story of her own. Cece's story starts on the bus (for those endings where things go that way) when she finally embraces her life and starts anew, leaving the other happy ended stories of the game behind.

At last, that's what this game told to me.

Ok, I see what you are saying, but… did you ever actually play Cece’s path?

No, i didn't. So far, as i recommended some post ago, i played 'by the heart' and i followed what felt to be 'my story'. For now i don't plan to play the other routes, but probably i will sometime. Then maybe i'll have a different opinion on the whole thing :)

I understand what you said about Linda, my heart totally went out to her when she told me of her unrequited love! I played Linda and Lexi routes first. Once I finally played Cece's route, however, it ended up being my favorite.

Just finished it myself(routes I am interested in). To be honest, I'm still new to these types of games. The only ones I played so far are: Acting Lessons, Being a DIK, Broken Dreamers, Summer's Gone and Fresh Women. Quite a few of them still WIP and on pause till finished.

I've seen this game a few times, but skipped it. Truth be told, the whole Cece crying banner was putting me off.
Wasn't ready for something that gave off Acting Lessons vibes to me xD

First I played the "canon/narrative driven route" with Cece, after that Lexi.
Don't think I'll play the other routes, not because the characters were bad, more so I'd personally never be interested in them, hence they'd feel forced.

Firstly, I'm sorry the creator had to go though a loss. For what it's worth, creating stories that can teach something about life is noble and something to be proud of. But being a father, I can't imagine the loss. But I am glad you found this gateway for yourself.
Secondly, I enjoyed it. Tbh, I'd enjoy it with almost 0 boobs/asses as well xD
Thirdly, the Cece

ending is something I can resonate/relate with. In my past(ages ago) I did try to self delete once. Thankfully I'm here still, and many years later, have a wife and kid.
I don't hide the fact that I play these types of games tbh. The days of good stories in games, or personal narrative like Max Payne 1+2, are things of the past(one good title in 3-4 years is a sad state of gaming). One finds better stories in quality VN's on this site tbh. And truth be told, a game like Being a DIK caused more laughter then all comedies in the last 5 years combined.

Overall, great game. Like with all VN's, some suspension of disbelief is required.
Like stated by the author, this is just a game. And a good one it was.

So I gotta ask fans of this game, other than the games above, are there similar/favorite games one would recommend me? Only finished titles tho. Feel free to DM, so this thread isn't spammed.

P.S. First comment on this site, haha
