Hidden actions: The reveals are totally fine. I meant it from the aspect like realising I could pick up cigarettes or there were message opportunities without any visual cue. I just didn't know there were these options and I found myself continuously going back to my phone to see if I missed anything. You are dead on about the story being the main driving force of the game. I actually found myself wishing that there was a SFW version that I could share with people who weren’t into the porn aspect.
If the ‘hidden’ actions you are talking about is later being blindsided by Steph’s reveal, or Linda’s reveal that she still liked the MC the entire time he was with Steph… yeah, that’s been discussed at length.
Personally, I still believe that Drifty did it that way for the realism. Often in life we are forced to make choices before we have all the information. But also as he said after the intercession about his daughter, this is a game. And the great thing about a game is that unlike life, you get to go back and make different choices.
One final thing that I would also say, is that when you go back through and play different routes, if you didn’t listen to the music as you played previously, make sure you turn it up and listen. The soundtrack only enhances the emotional connection to the game and it’s characters.
The soundtrack is also on Spotify as “Leap of Faith Soundtrack” if you ever want to listen to it outside of the game.
Anyway, have fun playing with yourself, I mean by yourself, I mean… well, just have fun!![]()
Then on the other hand, might have been a contemporary criticism of the dev on how people are glued to their phone ♂
And I did play with the music on, it does enhance the gameplay feeling significantly. I even spent time on creating a playlist on Spotify, not expecting there already being one
