It's a terrific VN with many different endings - you'll get to a save point where you have a significant choice to make (you'll know it when you see it), so definitely need to make a save there and use it as your base to explore the various endings. I recommend using the Mod so that you can see where significant choices are being made in case you want to save off a split route.i wonder if this will be any good it looks interesting so i will check it out to say the least![]()

Yes, it's Melvin, the partner who worked with Steph. If you don't forgive Steph, you'll see her taking his place in all scenes we've seen him (like this one, and in the end when the MC's grandpa was arrested).Hello here. I've finished the game and done 3 path (Cece + Steph + Lexi with Chris+Linda on every path). Obviously it's one of the best game here but nothing to add to this that hasn't been said here. I've also read a lot of comment here, the first ~200+ pages, mostly because i wanted to see some reaction after each new chapter release. I find it fun to read how people make theory about the game after playing a bit, when you know what would come but people who are writting a comment at a time when it wasn't possible.
They are still some thing i've not understand yet, like who is this guy with the binocular at the end of chapter 4? Is it Melvin, the fake husband of Steph? I've always welcomed Steph in Lexi's house in my 3 runs, so maybe it's why i've not the answer but i find it odd that they show you this guy and nothing was done with it. Did someone know who is it or what's the theory?
Actually, in that case they're both there when you talk to the old man. And he's not getting arrested, they're his detail. He's already been collected and is in whatever program he's in.Yes, it's Melvin, the partner who worked with Steph. If you don't forgive Steph, you'll see her taking his place in all scenes we've seen him (like this one, and in the end when the MC's grandpa was arrested).
I always assumed all the weirdo's were paparazzi keeping an eye on Lexi and the people she associated with. Never occurred to me to think about Steph's fake ex.They are still some thing i've not understand yet, like who is this guy with the binocular at the end of chapter 4? Thanks for the answer. I don't really see why they are watching him. Maybe they are just protecting Lexi and they also watch him in the same time? That would make sense because i think Stephanie was in metronome because she has to protect Lexi, but i'm not sure of it all. And in the same time, if they are here at the MC's grandpa scene, it mean that they could be watching because of the MC, not because of Lexi. Not really, Steph said it all when the MC and Cece go check on her in the bar. After, when she had a phone call, she refused it and after that when you have the sex scene with Steph at Lexi's, she basically said she was assigned to investigated at protect the MC.Thanks for the answer. I think the paparazzi was the one who took the golfball but the fact that Melvin was using a binocular and not a camera was always an odd thing to me. The fact that they show you matt on the same time seemed to me that Drifty where teasing a potential conflict with these 2 antagonist. In the end they wheren't much to do with them so i was confused. (or maybe they are more for matt, i dunno i haven't done the linda route)I always assumed all the weirdo's were paparazzi keeping an eye on Lexi and the people she associated with. "she was assigned to investigated at protect the MC." I missread that! I was thinking she was refering at the time when they where younger. Thanks, all make sense now.Not really, Steph said it all when the MC and Cece go check on her in the bar. At Metronome, she was there for a one-night job to be Lexi's bodyguard, kinda.
Now, if you refuse Steph at the bar, she answers the phone call and her new job is basically to continue protecting the MC.
Elhemeer, thanks man. I always thought he was basically arrested but was able to talk to MC "one last time" before going to prison.
The guy with a golf-ball in his camera lens is definitely Paparazzi, but the guy with the binocs is Melvin (or Steph if you leave her at the bar).I always assumed all the weirdo's were paparazzi keeping an eye on Lexi and the people she associated with. The whole implication with MC's family is that Grandpa was connected to some kind of Arab terrorist organization, and his dad fled the family before getting caught up in it, but he still was a person of interest because of that. Not really, Steph said it all when the MC and Cece go check on her in the bar. So you do hear of her at the end. Like you see her new house near the beach or something else? I don't have the faith to redo a new route just to see that for now.The guy with a golf-ball in his camera lens is definitely Paparazzi, but the guy with the binocs is Melvin (or Steph if you leave her at the bar).

So when he sent MC the $200k, that put him in Homeland's crosshairs; and Steph's actions -- plus the mysterious pictures that turned up -- only exacerbated that situation. If she'd reported in and left as soon as she got what she needed ... well, then there's no story.
As for Grandpa, my take from the conversation they have in the park was that he lost his desire to fight sometime relatively recently, had enough pull to find his family in the US (probably the source of the mysterious pictures right before Steph was arrested), then came over and turned states evidence on the condition he gets one chance to talk with MC, maybe his son as well. So while he wasn't BEING arrested, he was probably under protection as a witness. If he was just under arrest I don't think he gets that chance with so small a group watching him.
All of this is just speculation of course. Drifty purposefully does not include any information about anyone in the game that isn't relevant to the time frame of the story and the 9 main characters. Even the identity of the binocs guy, and that he's Homeland, is just speculation. If you don't bring Steph along, she could have been called by a different agency for all we know. She doesn't get back with Homeland in that case until after Cece is out of the hospital.
The terrorist part is complete speculation, although why else would the dad be on the watch list in the first place? We don't actually know the guy with the binocular is Melvin. could just be a random spy.
and we don't really know if the old guy in the park is related to MC or not, either. let alone his grandpa.
we can only speculate and imagine from thereif MC's family were terrorists, it would be in MC's file and Steph would know and would have told him at some point. if the old guy in the park is related to MC, he could just be someone important from an enemy state that wanted to come visit. that would set tons of alerts at Homeland and they would scramble to find someone to watch MC. MC's dad seemed rich enough to study abroad in the UK and the US. i'm not sure the family of known terrorists would be allowed to come and study freely for months/years.
