Guys the dev mentioned that he is working on Emmeline path and also the "dark path" , I want to know if he already talked about this before or gave some hints , like does the dark path involve something happening to a LI or it's more related to the mc

I assumed the Dark Path was mostly about the MC not dealing with his issues and ending up without a relationship. Also with a lot of very unhappy former friends and LIs.

yup :KEK: I mean when I thought Colleen was the sister I was fine leaving that variable alone, but with Emmie... not the same.
Colleen is cute, but I'm not a complete monster. I'm gonna be a great big brother to her. Emm though. No, I'm not. She's way too cute too, but in a very different way.
I'm actually really curious where our beloved Dev is going with this.

It's the path where MC turns his back on his family and friends and forges ahead alone without all the emotional risk that comes with caring about other people. A player gets on this path if he chooses not to visit Colleen when he's at the bar with Aria and Dely. Episode Four plays out a lot differently if you do that.

I know a lot of players feel like the end of episode four makes LDNA "just another incest game" but I'm not aware of any other game that actively works to strip away the fetishization aspect of incest and explore the social and philosophical underpinnings of the taboo. It's because incest is so popular in this genre that makes a serious exploration of it worthwhile. I've written at length on this elsewhere so I won't repeat myself but if someone really digs into the first four episodes they'll find the theme of family is pretty well-developed, in particular an examination of the nature of the familial relationship.

And that is exactly why I, for one, am very curious about where this is going. Incest games are a dime a dozen here, I don't know any that tries to deal with it in a serious and realistic way, except yours.
It is not one of my kinks, though I do enjoy some of them.

Yes, what's most interesting here for me is that their sexual attraction has developed before they found out that they are siblings due to having the same father. What makes someone your brother or sister? Is it blood or is it a bond that you build from growing up around someone? Many people who have been adopted or who have adopted siblings refer to that person as their brother or sister despite having no actual blood ties.
It's no doubt going to be a headfuck for them both, but will they be able to overcome it and will their mutual attraction ultimately override this sudden bombshell? Looking forward to seeing more of this awesome story.

Dear Dev, don't you think our dear Rockford is already a walking mess of problems on two legs? Did you have to burden him with that?

UNLESS you want to see this model athlete on four legs, crushed by his problems! In that case, I immediately retract my questions and claim the opposite.
