I know a lot of players feel like the end of episode four makes LDNA "just another incest game" but I'm not aware of any other game that actively works to strip away the fetishization aspect of incest and explore the social and philosophical underpinnings of the taboo. It's because incest is so popular in this genre that makes a serious exploration of it worthwhile. I've written at length on this elsewhere so I won't repeat myself but if someone really digs into the first four episodes they'll find the theme of family is pretty well-developed, in particular an examination of the nature of the familial relationship.
I had my initial reservations about the Sister storyline due to stuff like Patreon, I presumed it would've been a trap path, then you deleted your patreon and now I'm wondering whether it was tangentially related

I have full trust that you'll be able to treat the story with the respect and care you have with Rape/SA/Other taboo topics, so I'm still on bored

Impious Monk
being a cest enjoyer, we almost never get to read about the consequences and prejudices of the others around.
Because 99% stories are contained in a tight circle and going into the sunset.

Shame is a powerful tool in combating deviant relationships, lets see how Emmeline takes it. I guess our boy John is going to be fine as he is already battered by his abandonemnt issues.

Yeah, is real interesting, with what you are doing and how you plan to portray it. I personally would loved for it be fetishized a bit, maybe near the end, during sexual moments or in playful manor once they accept it, but that is just my own greedy want and accept it probably won't happen. And that's fine, I'm interested to see how the relationship plays out reagardless.

Colleen is cute, but I'm not a complete monster. I'm gonna be a great big brother to her. Emm though. No, I'm not. She's way too cute too, but in a very different way.
I'm actually really curious where our beloved Dev is going with this.

Honestly to me this game is one of the best portrayals of incest. Not only is the sex scene really beautiful and one of the best romance scenes ive seen through a sex scene. At first when I heard there was incest I wasn't a fan of the idea I thought it was gonna ruin a character for me especially if it was Jamie until I played the game. But after playing it I think the incest part makes it all that much better and a beautiful romance.

Not because of the incest fetish but throughout the entire game I felt personally, the MC and Emmeline are connected to one another. Because of everything that happens in the story first saving her , then her having the only picture she has seen of his father , to being a protector of her and also both have some daddy issues. To find out they are connected to one another in a different way than they realize I feel is really beautiful and well done. Not to mention the romance is really well done and cute which would be hard to stop just because she is your sister.

I still have a few saves I need to go back and play but when I do im gonna have to watch the end of the Emmeline scenes because of how great it is especially now knowing what their true connection to one another is.

And tangentially, please let us bring Emm to visit Colleen. That is a scene I'd really love to see.
I think technically that happen already when we took Colleen for a walk and invited Emm to come.

I completely forgot about that. still not quite the same as meeting your family. I just want a sweet and tender scene, full of suppressed sexual tensions, unspoken regrets, existential angst and self-recrimination.
I'd settle for a sweet and tender scene.
