What I'm going for is that the MC learns to open himself up emotionally over the course of the story, and if he only does it for one person it won't be enough to demonstrate the kind of change necessary for him to take the emotional risk of making Colleen a part of his life. Although I've buried a single line about in this in the multipage walkthrough, it's probably important enough to warrant a screen at the beginning of the game. More than one person has had this issue so I've already been thinking about this. Maybe I'll add it for Episode Five. Feedback on the idea would be appreciated.

I think the problem is in normal visual novels if you wanted to be on a girl's Solo route

you had to completely ignore the other characters because

if you were a little bit nicer to them it automatically means you want to fuck them

or if you're just a little bit too nice to them it automatically means you're romantically interested

however, Leaving DNA does something completely different

leaving DNA is one of the few visual novels that have well thought-out and very detailed romantic and friendship route


and not only is it well thought out

the friendship and romantic routes are amazingly blended into the main story and feel like they matter

but people are still used to the old way of playing monogamous routes if you want to be on a girl solo route you have to ignore


the other girls or you will accidentally get on that route

it's like a habit or a mindset people aren't used to. It is such an amazing friendship route

and romantic route

My guess is,a little hint wouldn t be the worst for this because,lets be honest,....after downloading this Game for the first time, most of the Players are just looking for pretty girls; big boobs; harem; cheating; NTR yadayadayada .....!So...for them this little hint would be pointless because they would stop playing...but...a significant Group of Players with Brains (those Players who actually want an emotional and excellent written Story with outfleshed Characters and a little (more) Sex(appeal)) they would appreciate a little hint...just because that you as a Player know that it could become very emotional and the MC has to fight his inner Demons. This is a game for people with empathy, morals and compassion and not a Fap-Simulator.

I get what you're saying brother but I don't know if I would want obvious hints I mean they have been times when I've been

worried that if I'm too nice to a character she get the wrong idea and I would end up on her route

but that's because I'm used to the regular way of playing and I'm worried about hints popping up and breaking my immersion

I think slapping a note at the start of the game is fine. Otherwise keep cooking, I enjoy the story and outside of minor details (like Malena's discharge), you've got something here.

Contradictory statement is contradictory. You know save files exist right? Just branch off for diff girls at the right choice decisions then tab through content or as Jer posted, use URM if you just want to 'see' other outes (it has a handy replay function). It's really not difficult.

well tough luck dude, unless it's a harem game, you gotta make multiple playthroughs to see all routes, no way around it. Get used to it.

(but, i get you...ive got the same "Problem") Every single Playthorugh i broke my brain in pieces like,"is it okay to being nice to her?; or should i accept a date?; should i flirt, or not?; Could it be that i am sending the wrong message to a girl, just for being nice?? Yeah....i get you...

But i m also made my peace...in the near future there is only ONE Girl for MC...well...two Girls (if you count in Colleen).
Btw...Colleens Story almost broke me....and almost made me jump into my Screen for hugging her... Her Story is sooo touching....! My personal guess is that Colleen is really MC`s Sister and Aghavni lied to him about the DNA Result (to protect MC)

Or if you don't want to use a mod, a little secret is that if you right-click the skip button on the quick menu, you're given an option to skip to the next choice.

It actually skips to the next unseen text by default, but it works pretty well if you want to speed through a new save.

however, if you flirt with a girl and ask her out for a date there's no misunderstanding you're literally showing interest

I mean if you're not interested in a girl romantically you shouldn't be flirting with her and asking her out on a date

Wrong. It makes much more sense that Em and MC share a dad. Happier, too, because he's the best of the Orcs in terms of mental health and humanity (or at least he was before 20 years in the joint). Colleen can still be family, that's what MC discovers on the path of openness. Family is as much found as it is born.
