Shame you all couldn't come to a different result Abe, I was a huge fan of the original LOK:R. For me it was the perfect balance of adult content/game 60/40, whereas the remake feels like its going to be more game then adult content. In a perfect world you all could have limited the scope of the original and continue with monthly updates, while the other team releases quarterly updates of the larger scope game. To me I feel that would have been a winner, a huge winner at that. Since no one is willing to share their time machine, I will keep an open mind and wait to give the new game a try. Hope it works out for everyone involved.
I believe the last version I had played was around...v0.05 or something? I didn't even get to valeens (leather worker) There is whole lot of content I'm missing. Lies. I played .08, but only up to some of Guldran. Still a lot of content I have yet to play.
I've enjoyed the pre-reboot, and I hope to enjoy the post-reboot.

That isn't a bad thing, Abel, and for the record I very much respect your work on LoK, and I think you're a very smart man. I don't hold any sort of grudge against you, and we didn't do any of this to spite you. I know you hate me, but I'd be open to working with you again if you ever got over your hatred of me.
I hope your high school project takes off, I really do.

So how long are we potentially off a release? I think most of us are on the fence on supporting the game until we see something playable.
I think after all this time (and while the patreon updates are exciting) most of us are a but cautious, I guess the same with any game in this genre. At the very least it's good to see the creators communicating with the fans, even though TBH I'm surprised you guys are actually on this site at all.

Definitely agree, communication is always appreciated albiet there be drama at times. For the most part, completely remaking a game that wasn't finished and still ask for support after the fact is highly unusual. The previews are nice to see a glance at the progress the game has but it'd be another few years to see a possibility the game would be finished.
The need to see the sort of potential in action of the remake of LoK:R is all about is critical for future support, especially well after approx. a year since the annoucement of it.
I'll believe it when I see something I haven't seen here.

The game as it currently is on the first page is no longer being worked on. But for almost a year now they've been working on a remake.

agreed, the new artstyle is like 10 steps back. Especially the lizard girls whose jaw looks like its detachable.
From my point of view krystal has a slight upgrade + you can adjust her to look more like the old one, but the lizard girl is yee a downgrade compared to old one especially the jaw as i mentioned a few times. Still not my choice and im fine with the choice they made even though lizard girls will be like 5 times less sexy for me.Lord, why did they do this? The old design was better!

Anyway I'm happy with the game upgrade and the fact they said many times already the old one would crumble after few more updates just like Simbro did and was abandoned in the end, so i don't actually see any room for me to make any hard complain even if they go with something I would'nt like.
After all, some ppl seem to not understand that they have actually no right to complain even if they donate some money to them, you have right to support them or not, if you support them with 10$ 100$ or even 100 000$ you still have no right to complain because it was your choice for giving them that money you could also not do it, it was just YOUR choice whatever you did , why you dont ? you didnt make any specific contract with them where you put some sum of money like an investor and where your voice actually have some value towards them. But you can still be a critic and say stuff like this is worse than before, this would be better if you did it like this instead of this, stuff like that instead of, You guys fu.. it up i dont want that give me back that , i paid you 5$ so make this game as i want (ignore the hundreds/thousand other ppl that also paid, or your own vision of the game) , this is shi..

Looks like a vast improvement to me. A lot of people also find the lizard girls to be cute, I happen to be one of them, but hey, everyone has their own personal taste.
If you don't like them, then there are plenty of other races we plan on adding in the future, including other lizard species.

Here's my take. Personally I don't want to rag on a game I haven't played yet and have only seen occasional screenshots of. I do have some reservations and critiques for the game but I'll hold off on it until I play and get a feel for what the developers want to achieve with this reboot which I feel is reasonable enough.
From lurking in their discord I'm personally fine with the new artstyle and am quite curious to see the animations working in tandem with the new backgrounds they have. I just hope the porn content doesn't take a backseat as it is the reason why most people backed this project.
I also hope the dialogue from the previous game is carried over to this because that was one of the reasons I fell in love this game, the slow build up with Cenvir with every event was my favorite dialogue wise. I'm aware Vlad isn't really a big fan of how Cenvir was written but I hope the steady and intimate build ups with some characters stay at the very least.
Regardless, I know you guys may feel that you aren't that welcome on this site and that may be frustrating sometimes but just keep your heads down and show us something that'll change minds, hopefully in the few coming days. I haven't pledged any money yet and don't plan to until I feel satisfied with the pace of development, hope you guys understand.

This is all the old version, isn't it?
You drew her a white strip on her chest and chin, it really spoils her. Previously, this strip was poorly expressed or absent.
This is small comfort since I had plans for lizard girls.
