This might be useful.

You can see the location and which monster can have an encounter with those beetles for the tokens. It's very random in the beginning but if you attack the same displayed monster over and over again you sooner or later have to fight one of those. They love to flee, attack with the strongest attack/spells you possess.

Different artists. Beastmode is just if you want to play as a wolf, a horseman or a bull.

Well some scenes have different poses and look flatout better. Imo Beastmode B looks way better as Beastmode A but that's just a matter of taste.

To run faster you have to find the traveling scholar (blue dressed guy) in the Colussia Inn and answer his 5 questions. Just save before and load if you want to save money. After that you get the Boots of Rushing which allows toggling on/off running by pressing A.

Since it's a traveling scholar you should keep your eyes open cuz you can find him in other locations and he has more rewards ready for you.
