I wonder if this game is going to get a Golden "remaster" after episode 4 is complete. At this point after 6-7~ years in dev I think Gabe should just put everything she wants in the game without going back to it.

i have a save like that but it's a bullman and i forget the what art it is. plues i do not know how to put saves on this were you can download them also i kinda grinded through all but one quest i think. there is also some stuff i may have missed hard to say i know there's one red chest underwater in the village that thinks your iron dudes people i can't get.

On second playthrough you don't need to upgrade the castle again at all. Once you reach a certain part of the story the castle auto upgrades. iirc it's after blackthorn keep part when Farah is kidnapped by the harpies. Once you reach that point the castle goes back to the fully complete state.

You dont have to kill x amount of enemies to spawn it, it spawns randomly when you enter a location.
It only appears at one specific monster in that location (indicated by that monster now being golden) and you dont know if it spawned or not until you walk to said monster (unless you bought the golden radar or whatever its called for two gold tokens).

Easiest way to get the tokens, I'd say:
1.: Find it
-Go to Rivulet Hills
-Go to the screen were the way forkes left and right
-One Werewuffie should be golden, if not: exit Rivulet Hills and go back until it is

2.: Beat it
-Be at least lvl 14 or it's too fast and runs away
-Attack the beetle first or it runs away

3.:?

4.: Profit
