Just to put my 2 cents in, I DO think the Dev's could sidestep the tags system and just put lesbian only route in the descriptions at least it would be a start

Dog Days is great. I hope you continue with an optional pure lesbian path (because there are those who like it and there are those who don't, so having the option is always good) and without futas until the end.
Mothers Love, if you ask me, I played it but I found it too exaggerated in the use of "toys". I would prefer something more "without things that look like dicks in the middle"

I think it's funny how the so-called "straight games" have close-up scenes and focus on dicks all the time. I don't think gay games are as gay as some straight games

I've never thought of my lesbian game as being a gay game, despite 100% of the content in it depicting homosexual acts. I agree that as a straight guy this appeals to me way more than a game depicting straight sex. 0 dicks > 1+ dicks.

When people say "gay game" I think of the artsy "gay experience" games they have on itch.io

When I say "gay games" it's about 2 guys in a relationship. Not in the sense of "games with same-sex relationships". As you said:
gay games = 2 guys
