Idk man, based on your comment I looked into my files and I still had Lost in You installed, so I tried taking a look because maybe it is a true injustice? No shit, first save I load there's a disembodied entity called Sekai waiting for me at the rooftop.I never get why do you guys calling it an absolute clone. I mean, there are like thero simmilarites between then except they both are using most popular free assets
For real, I wish there would be more LiL clones, because I like how LiL is, and LiL without Selebus sounds even better. But nobody even tried (maybe except SO, I haven't played it yet for my reasons)

I will offer an example from what I do remember. Specifically, there is this one event where dude goes:

And if you read the ramble, that's the problem with taking inspiration from a piece of work that is much more than assets, themes, and imagery. Cause in terms of game design, this one is probably better than LiL. But LiL is what it is because it excels in writing, and if you take inspiration from something then it's gonna be compared to that. And yeah, the writing isn't good here (although it's clearly trying to be). That's the issue for me, because this isn't a story about Akira, it's its own thing more or less and if the story was compelling I'd be super happy about it. But it's not good enough to be taken seriously, and it isn't silly enough to be taken lightly - at times, being perfectly honest, it reads like fanfiction.
Now, this is my take - if someone enjoyed the game, more power to them - I spent time in it, and I sure wish I had. Hell, I wish we had 30 more Lost in Yous, cause if we did, chances are I'd enjoy some of them myself. So I hope the author finds success in his game, and that his writing skill continues improving.
