Jesus Christ, this is by far the worst game I have ever played in my life...
Same. Gameplay is just horrendous, and the worst part is that it's intentional. Without the wiki playing this game is just a pain. I feeling headache every time I think about replaying this game and just go "nope, maybe later" every single time.
But if you were about the story...Then yes, that was intentional too.

Man, this update was so fire this thread haven't been quiet for 10 days already and we're not even in public release times. Wild shite. Guess everyone was just shell shocked a bit after 0.35 ending, huh?
Yup still haven't came down off of the climax of .35 to the point when playing through .36 everything, just felt "blah". Except for Uta and Io breaking into Sensei's place which was hilarious.

If things go well at 0.37 it will bring even more excitement and it will bring more hyper and more very good theories so yes LIL will be at a very good time that people will be talking about practically every day here.

Ayo everyone, I don't think I'm a novice to this game but I'd like introduce myself first. I stumbled upon it since last September and I kept poring over it ever since then. I have made it to the middle of Second Christmas (not a native speaker therefore pardon for my tardy peruse), lurking all the time on this web. I think the game is very intriguing in many many ways, bewildering as well. I have some question and inadequate reflections to share about. And I'm glad to see everybody discuss friendly here.

Anyways get down to brass, first thing I want to ask is about gods that prevailed all over this place. I have encountered word God imprecating by characters with capitalized G was substitued with little g for several occasions. Is that a suggestion that those gods are not actual omnipotent beings rather than USERS monitoring the Terminal 23 system as some parts of reset events hit?

The first god that is Nozumu (望? Hope? Is that big angel an incarnation of him?), speaking in all capitalized letters, seems like a huge jerk with sheer lust to deflower every girl due to unknown reason. Motivation iss nevertheless clear and he is the one often "fizzes" the screen and takes over control of Sensei as far as I saw in many events? Isn't Sensei's deceased brother eponymous with it too? Did he apotheosize to a god? Which is highly plausible in my opinion since Teacher (Sensei's sister-in- law Sekai who also passed away in that accident it seemed) said blatantly that Brother had done so much abominable conductions to her in the very recent Happy Event...

Let's move to The Second one, the one I reserved most confusions. He's the Wire god initating lines with a huge amount of blackslashes, and has unknown relationship with Tsuneyo's Father. (Wiring upstair connecting to his life-sustaining machine, even Nozumu wanted to invade Tojo's Ramen, etc.) But I have no idea what's his deal is? Does he want to protect the sysytem and assist Sensei? That's possible since he took care of Miku and helped us sizing the control of Nozumu in Yumi's Abyss event. But he's also the one who played a serious and even traumatized joke on Maya during first Dorm War and mind-controlled Sensei deflowering Molly (And reset it back afterwards? Because clearly Molly is a virgin now). Like for what reason? Also I have noticed that in Yumi's Abyss event he spoke in lower case while in others he always spoke with all capitalized letters? Did other gods impersonate him...?

The Third one, also known as The Concerned, haven't showed up yet.

That's my cursory synopsis so far and there are so many mysteries for me. I hope anyone of you can answer it. I won't mind moderate spoilers. Apologize beforehand for probable grammatical errors.

well, on the subject of the gods, the one who can explain them to you is DeSkel, he is the one who is omniscient in this game, so just wait for him to answer you, but in the meantime you play, there is still a lot for you to see, since there is still is in the game second Christmas in the game (mini Spoiler the Worried god has already appeared and the god who deserves it most is dead) so it's best to keep playing if you want to know more about this beautiful and traumatic game. :)

I would definitely prefer a game with less dark and more pleasant themes, both for the girls and for the protagonist and that they reform, the whole world without traumas, and Akira as the name of the game learning to love, It may happen but there is a long way to go to get out of darkness and into purity.
I doubt that this is even possible in a game in which the developer spouts religious nonsense that "fucking young girls is bad" (especially in games of this genre). Since when did the best thing on Earth become bad?
Either the developer is an envious loser who has an old and ugly wife who spreads her legs for anyone, or he is simply out of his mind.
I play this game with my daughters and we laugh every time Sensei's actions are called bad or terrible, because it just looks pathetic.

Just, what about alternatives for girls in a world where there are no other men? Any attention from Sensei to each of them is the greatest good here. There is no need to try to deceive the player or brainwash him that there is something bad in the Sensei's actions. Even in Molly's case there is absolutely nothing wrong, since she herself does not see anything wrong with it, i.e. "mutual consent" is obvious. Why invent a problem out of thin air?

More or less I see that what Selebus wants from the beginning has been, // I'm going to throw out so much shit so that the reader learns to value good things and so on //
If you put a spoonful of shit in a barrel of honey, you get a barrel of shit. It is obvious.
You can't force someone to love good things by sniffing shit, because during that time the good things will also become shit.

I've talked about the gods a few times before, if you want to use the search bar, you can probably find my past posts.

Anyway, the gods and users seem connected:
  • USER1 seems to be the First god mentioned, aka The Callous, The Lust Eater, Nozomu, and likely HOPE. Tends to talk in all caps "LIKE THIS". It's season is Summer.
  • USER2 is likely the Second god mentioned, aka The Calm, and The Wire god. Tends to talk in all caps with slants "/////LIKE THIS". It's season is Winter.
  • USER3 is the Third god mentioned, aka The Concerned, The Dark, and later on calls itself Pareidolia. Tends to talk in lower case, but can change it up whenever apparently. This is likely the one you saw talking in lower case. It's season is Spring.
Terminal 23 seems to be this World, but it isn't exactly clear yet. USERS and gods are somewhat interchangeable.

Why the First god aka The Callous shares a name with Sensei's brother isn't clear, but it's possible that it is simply the name the Narrator chose to give it. Nozomu can translate to Hope. Not to mention, who the Narrator telling us about the gods, is, also isn't clear. Also, probably should mention that USER1 has apparently account shared before, which makes things even more confusing.

As for what USER2/The Second god seems to want? Well, presumably it wants order:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Out of all of the gods and USERS, this one seems be the one behind the resets, memory alteration, and perception alteration that's likely going on. It's been noted that this god can:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
At least alter visuals, and certain events like 'The Scary Room' Main Event, show that Maya at least thinks it could reset her. Not to mention, stuff like affection points seem to be it's thing. The game parts of this game seems to be it's domain.

Overall: It's not impossible that The Second god may be the system itself, or at least has control over it.

The First god seems to want this power, hence HOPE being implied to want something to do with wires and Sensei's special ability. Ironically, this Callous god may be the only one that's actually on Sensei's side, at least in theory, whether that's a "good" thing is up to you.

The Third god on the other hand seems to just want to make things how it thinks things should be.

Also some notable spoilers are that all 3 of these gods apparently gave Sensei his body, can't feel on their own, and require sacrifices that more or less translate to Sensei taking things that don't belong to him. They seem to need Sensei to fuck specific girls to maintain their power.

in Molly's case
Just imagine that you bought a porn film, came home, turned it on. In the story, a man brought women home, then invited them to have sex. And then the women say:
- What? Are you out of your mind? This is attempted rape! You're a terrible person, we're calling the cops!

Don't get me wrong, I love a good comedy. But if further in the plot the whole film turns into the trial of this man, then this is no longer a comedy or porn.

It's the same in this game. What's the point of attracting fans of a school setting and then convincing them that it's bad? From the middle of the game this turns into an obsession of the author. People do not play such games so that someone will accuse them of it and shower them with moralizing lessons.

Envy is such envy...

Do you consider yourself better than your children?
You can play these games, but they can't? Why suddenly?
Never actually asked myself these questions as I don't have any kids. So the envy comment is kinda... Misplaced?

I do think that I'm infinitely worse than my children will ever be. It's a father's job to make sure that his kids' life is better and easier than his own, is it not?

Absolutely not, because this is manipulation.
And if you consider yourself worse, how can you teach them something good? If your life is not successful, then your intervention in their life will also lead to negative results. You need to work a little on your vision of yourself and life will begin to change for the better ;)
