I didn't remember Yumi bullying Futaba in chapter 2, but, to be honest, she's kind of in the right here.

I mean, yes. That was a bizarre decision for Futaba all around, even if you hadn't messed up as bad as you did. And from Yumi's perspective, even if she wasn't Yumi, I'd say that reaction made a lot of sense.

I am more curious of Futaba reaction. At this point Futaba literally has no friends: not only Nodoka betrayed her, but Rin has also choosen Nodoka's side over her. And, as far as I see, she was aware about their attitude since the first chapter; she litterally felt in love with Sensei because he was the person who "cared" about her the most.

So, because Futaba has extremly shitty live and she is aware of that, she might actually forgive Nodoka. Not from her kindness, but from her extreme loneliness
I've mentioned it a few times, but I am definitely liking how Futaba is just getting done with everyone. Disappointed in Nodoka, exhausted by Rin, and regretting Sensei.

I wouldn't be too surprised if she just forgives them all eventually, though.

But Otoha was also his little sister in chapter 2 iirc.

I love the theory that Nodoka is Sensei's real sister
Otoha seemed to have always wanted a little brother and more or less little bro-zoned Sensei by the end of Chapter 3:

She did initially treat him more as an older brother in Chapter 2:

But then she found out he was fucking teens in Chapter 3, and I guess, he became a little bro, or perhaps she just became more depraved.

If Nodoka is Sensei's sister, I guess that'd make Nodoka, Ami's aunt, which would be...interesting.

They're not prone to self reflection. They're very used to being told what assholes they are, and just convince themselves that others just don't get it, regardless of evidence to the contrary. Of the ones I've known, they can have their behavior explode in their face, and they'll still compartmentalize it into parts to so they can blame most of it on others, but take fake blame for tiny parts only where it can make them seem sympathetic.
But there is a difference between getting told something and actually thinking about it when writing. Even if you write a self insert. And even if you are fully convinced you are the greatest guy ever. The disconnect to yourself just has let to some selfreflect. Unless you are a talentless scribbler who has no idea about anything. But we know that this is not the case.

Dude, if Akira married them both, he'd basically have control over 90% of the city, lol.
Add in Yumi, and that's basically all of Kumon-Mi. Ayane, Touka, and Yumi are all more or less Kumon-Mi Princesses.

Edit: There's also Kendo Princess of The Golden Desert, but we all know she's out of Sensei's league.

I really don't think you fully appreciate just how unaware this type of person really is to how they ACTUALLY come off to others.
I find it completely believable for one to write a self insert that's a smug, self-serving know-it-all who just effortlessly gets succeeds in everything because they're just that smart, and anyone who gets upset just doesn't understand, and they only really make mistakes because of totally unpredictable third party factors.
And I can see them doing it completely unironically with no self reflection, because of course she'll always be vindicated in the end, as they think they are in real life.

But then, why hasnt that happen already? Why did he wrote futaba still as angry? I mean this would explain why neither Ron nor Noriko had a problem going to the event, even after cold hearted bitch move against Io. But it doesnt explain why futuba is still angry. Because that was a choice. A decision he made. And it is clear he made the decision that futaba has not forgiven her alleged best friend.

I mean, he'd fuck his mother (Touka) and daughter (Ami), but not his sister? (Noriko gets him hard when she plays an imouto) - let's get real, Akira. You have fucked a watermelon.
But he actually had fucked his sister... maybe, he's just filling gaps he didn't fill earlier?

Wouldn't it be fun if Sensei blacked out and assaulted Io?
How probable is that it actually happens?

And yet she still praised it, and lets Naoko hang around her, because nobody would ever want to actually alienate her.
Futaba is the one she "cares" about, so her conflict is the only one that matters in this context. Others are brushed aside and not explored, likely forgotten entirely.
But don't worry, Nodoka is right and Futaba is just being unreasonable and in her grace, Nodoka will forgive her when she's done pouting.

But I think at this point, I'm letting my own experiences growing up with these types of "people", their tactics, and the deep psychological scars its left color my analysis on this character a bit too much. So maybe it's best I wrap up playing armchair psychologist for incestuous she-Sheldon.

I think you guys are letting the Sel hate cloud things a bit too much. After the Io thing, pretty much every character declares Nodoka terrible. Uta, who was harassed by pedophiles as a child, calls it the most disgusting thing she's ever seen. Imani, who was okay with alligators and Death Ball in her contests, immediately kicked her out. Ayane, probably the most lawful good member of the cast, mused that maybe Yumi was justified in beating her half to death. Even Otoha was disappointed. That's not a poor misunderstood genius, that's as in the wrong as a character can be.

I wouldn't see that scene as isolated from her fight with Futaba, but rather a further illustration of how fucked up her "everything would be fine if you looked at it from my perspective" mindset is. And given how explicitly she promised not to reveal Futaba's relationship earlier, and how she calls back to the lust novel thing when breaking her promise not to have sex with Akira, I'd say that Sel intended for Nodoka to be a massive self-serving hypocrite from the beginning.

I guess you are right, but it was less any emotion i have towarda sel and more the fact that the girls still did appear at her little sex event that let me sort of forgot about those things. I mean i can see Kirin just not caring, Makoto still on her "everything resets nothing matters" trip, Sana been too horny because of what the sexgods did to her. But i am still disapointed that Ron, Molly and Noriko did appear and have seemingly no problem with what she did. Because i really cant find any excuse for those three to appear. I mean molly and ron may have been gotten the hornies and noriko was dragged along by kirin, but that is just not enough.
