I also said it could have been an anti-fiction activist and that it was discovered that the Itch.io issue indeed was anti-fiction activists, anti-fiction referring to people who will act against a work of fiction if it has fictional content of a type they disagree with allowing even if it is legal, the biggest group being those who would act against characters in adult games that have a certain appearance. In fact, this is the same group I warned the Harem Hotel developer about as at the time they were very active out in the open where the developer is known to talk about his game, leading to the politically charged comment seemingly directed at me considering I was the only one mentioning it.

For fiction, that's the point, on my system it is two strikes to take action against fiction in any form which is legal in its country of production and then one strike for negative comments directed at me for trying to help was already on the board. It wouldn't matter if this was directed at Sel, it could be directed at a random stray cat and it would produce the same resulting response from me if there was evidence of it. Ridiculous example intentional to illustrate my point, it was the specific thing directed at Sel, not who it was directed at that is my issue with the Discord ban.

To add to that, I played his game and I remember there being at least once character that falls under a classic, straight outta novel, Lolita archetype, so I don't understand how he thinks he has any moral high ground (he probably does a lot of mental gymnastics. "Well, she says she 18, so...").

I don't think that's right to equate how the game presents its themes with what creator publicly says. If there's one thing I appreciate about what Lil is doing, it's that Sell says the quiet part out loud.
Or at least is planned to have them by the developer's own admission on multiple occasions.
I mean, that tends to be the general mentality on sites like this, but some of us are genuinely in it for the plot. I started as one of those in it for the 'plot' up until 0.8.0, when the plot met the minimum or higher level of quality I am sort of forced to require to subscribe.

Right, right. The "Uzaki-chan controversy". On this topic, I saw a NY Times article recently about the guy who dates a 30 y/o woman that looks like 8-10 in stature. Not exactly a dwarfism and she doesn't looks like a kid, just has small proportions. People on twitter thread were legid saying that she should die alone, because she looks too young to have relationship. It obviously doesn't help, that article was titled something like "Guys, pls, I'm not a creep...", but still.
That's one of them, but since the first of two instances of that particular issue, there has been a whole list of others (I have had the misfortune of watching this unfold right in front of me, no media involved except Twitter itself because it is a "social media" platform) and it has since branched so far that I don't see adult games out of the realm of possibility. This is actually why I don't remove anti-fiction activists like the ones who struck out at Uzaki more than once among others as a potential culprit in the LiL Patreon issue. If they will hit SFW fiction even when a character isn't even human or is confirmed at or above age, they will hit NSFW fiction despite the same, it is only a matter of how long until they discover it. They would absolutely report games on sites that would affect production in some way if it meant possibly stopping the game entirely, something that was at the time a very real threat to this game during the Patreon issue on a site that basically requires user reports for flagging.

Funny that saves got mentioned, I messed up again, fell for exactly the same thing as the Rin/Chika lock out, but in later content (I was a fool and didn't play it smart around a certain choice that once again puts me into a future red event) and am now back at the start (per my own personal rules, if I ever get something marked red or confirmed in a state where I will be seeing something marked red in the future with no way to stop it from happening, all my saves are to be deleted and I restart from the beginning, no exceptions). This marks the 30th restart since the beginning of development that resulted from a first time through an event, a point at which I would not have had the notes I do now. I have had no restarts off of events I have watched more than once, I have notes to prevent that.
