Ren'Py Lessons in Love [v0.43.0] [Selebus]

I know this may sound silly, but I hear people saying that using cheats marks your character save as a cheater which could cause issues later on. Now, I think Renpy is coded in python (which I'll admit is not my area of expertise), but has anyone tried actually finding the variable and switching it or removing the code that looks for signs of cheating?

Assuming the cheater bit is stored locally in the persons own game files surely they could just change the variable and then do an Output cheater status or whatever said variable is caused to check if it updates ingame?

I'll stress, I know little to nothing about python and Renpy, I do Java so python is relatively unknown to me, but does anyone know if this has been tried?

Obviously, finding the code would be a bit of a pain having to unpack everything and search through it, especially if the dev is un-documenting when it comes to code explanation, which would make sense as he's not expecting you to look at the code, but surely this would resolve the possible issue of being marked and it impacting the game

Hmm, if the cheat was constantly running then we'd probably need to remove the code to check if a cheat if active. Like if you turn on god mode the game can see you are actively running the god mode code and can flag that you cheat, however, if you spawned an item in via cheats the flag would only get raised when it was spawned in so logically if you used cheats to set relationship level you'd only have to just change the cheat flag, right?

You know... considering everything regarding Makoto and Maki's background ... I'm very surprised maki has not been plowed like farm land that has never had a four year rotation method implemented.
Even more surprised selebus didn't use Makoto overhearing sensei banging her mom as a trigger event for makoto...

ok i offiocially completed everything there is as of now. I realy liked Ami until the last haruka event... I also kinda Think that Ami might know more than she pretends.. like what was that event when she didnt open the door for Maya and went all Wierd...

The only visual novel porn game i actually skipped the h scenes for the plot, great kudos to Selebus at this point.

Yeah she was total cunt to Haruka I'm not really into the whole spanking kink but boy I wanted to tan her ass cheeks red for that.

Regarding cheating: If you really want to cheat without consequences, just enable the console and manually tweak variables. It's really not that complicated.

Is it intended, that replays are having something different, than your original walkthrough? For example for dorm wars first floor obviously won, but in the replay it's a tie? It is for every one or my save got bad?

Replays cannot carry over variables from your actual playthrough so it shows what is set as the generic option.

Basically it just says that during the beach event you will be able to choose which floor's girls you want to stay with.

There is also a pretty funny conversation about completionists wanting to see every possible thing. Worth watching the replay, IMO.

I must be one of the inept. I have tried and tried and tried with this game, and ALL I get, is grind, more grind, some more grind, the after grinding, I grind some more.

The Hints? Show me all sorts of content that I apparently skipped somehow. Its like a navigator on a cross country trip who suddenly pipes up..oh, you should have turned left back there 100 miles ago.

Needs an honest in game walk through mod.
