That depends on her motivation for her actions, which is total speculation at this point. IF she is doing it to toughen Futaba, then yeah, it IS tough love. If she's doing it solely for enjoyment or to be mean and/or tough, that is just bullying with no positive motivation. Either way she's going about it the wrong way, but what's important is the part we don't yet know, her intent, which has been hinted, but not revealed.

The public version of the last update went live today on the Patreon (it had already been leaked here). There is no new content released today, as Selebus is taking some time off this month. Next new content release for Patrons is set to be released on the 1st.
Alright, fair enough, we don't know. I just don't buy the "tough love" angle. It doesn't have to be sadistic impulse either. She just does it, not necessarily enjoys it.
I don't so much buy it as it is the most supported possibility at this time. If she was really just being a typical bully, her tactics would escalate. At least, that's how my own case played out until I finally got the idiot in a position where he was guaranteed caught red handed and could not be ignored.

He does make the more major announcements, like his development schedules for upcoming months as far as whether it will be a break, a part of the usual two part release, or a full version release, through the Patreon and SubscribeStar. The things we don't get on the Patreon or SubscribeStar are the things only Discord is capable of out of those three sites and some of the gravure sets were posted specifically to the patron Discord channels from what I've read in comments here instead of also being posted on the other two as usual, resulting in some of us not even realizing those gravure shots existed.
15-2 is virtually the start of the dorm wars. 15-5 is toward the end. Northing is blocked, but sorry, I cheated. BUT, I did not use any in-game cheats, so I swear I'm not marked as a cheater unless Selebus can somehow tell I edited the save files with an online application (SaveEditorOnline).
Thank you so much, I didn't expect such a quick response, you're my savior, I like so much this game I would have been so sad to not be able to continue this adventure; thanks also for the hint for the event, I played the game version per version, and I liked the season passage, when you had to search for the answers in previous events, so I hope to go on in this one.
I doubt he's got anything set up to detect external alterations to save files. That would be extremely complicated and time consuming to put together and, judging by the content we've been getting, both quantity and quality, I don't think he's had that time unless he's doing it in chunks, which again, would take an extreme amount of time on top of the time already needed to set it up.
Good thing I decided to read the spoiler, since I would've probably never done it otherwise and missed it as wellWell, after 10 days of play, I finally have my first blocked scene,Love Life, Let Go. It's because I didn't do the second happy scene by leaving the dorms and progressed too far with the girls before I finally realized I needed to do that. Now I want to go back and repeat all these days.... Of course, now that I know what I'm doing, it it won't be 534 days to get back to where I am.
EDIT: Actually, I'm going back to the 7th of August (Day 128), when the decision point had not been passed. Affection is no longer 40-60, but oh well. All my other games will have to wait a week longer.
