It's probably just a lack of resources thing, Koikatsu is far from unlimited, you only have what Illusion put into the game and studio assets and what modders put into the game and studio assets which, to be honest, isn't all that much. Don't get me wrong, both did fine work for what they set out to do, there just isn't all that big of a selection.
No, that usually only happens when the game gets voice acting and similar sound assets thrown in, which are dangerously expensive and far out of reach of a 'one man studio relying on Patreon and SubscribeStar' budget even if it is Selebus we're talking about. With Renpy games, the majority of sound assets are royalty free, which is mostly music, maybe some sound effects here and there that the developer might run across, and usually not voice lines.
Really? Getting frustrated at everything and taking it out on the staff at her photoshoot isn't stereotypical celebrity like? She did that before she even noticed him, though only just, then things got interesting to say the least.
Possibly, but we will never know it is until it happens. Selebus isn't exactly known to confirm or deny theories prior to the point at which an event the theory was about comes into the game. At that point, it is too late for said theories to be an issue, then it becomes an issue someone has with the game itself.
That definitely helps, I can make out their names and stats with the outlines.
Remember that Ami is into him too, it is entirely possible they had something and that triggered this angry god. Obviously they didn't go all the way since she was a virgin in her first penetration scene, but they may have done some things. I think Maya is the focal point of the loops because she did something that caused them, this leads back to an early theory of mine, I think from before we hit 0.8.0, where she did something as part of an attempt to bring him back after the 'jump' occurred. My theory at that time had Ami as the one who caused the 'jump' at the beginning due to her extreme possessiveness. This could have caused a distortion in the timeline that resulted in time looping on itself (bear with me, I'm working off a very limited and very fiction-based understanding of how time works, mostly Star Trek). As a result of her interference, she is the one depicted when player Sensei goes into the majority of 'happy' scene events. It could also be a remnant of an old memory that triggered this 'happy' scene depiction of Maya, which is entirely possible if they were in a romantic relationship. This is a more realistic and more likely possibility than the 'interfering with time' thing. This is, of course, assuming that there is real time manipulation going on and it isn't just in his head. In that case, it is more likely the memory thing and some mental breakdown going on that Maya, a lover he might have had at some point prior to the 'jump,' doesn't want to get worse. She's obviously suffering because of something related to him. At this point, it is still too early to tell exactly what is going on. We have a much clearer picture of how everything happened, but too few pieces of the puzzle to put it together.
Valid arguments all around.
Mods like that tend to need quite a bit of editing per update.
Okay, there is a lot of arguments here, and as I do not want to quote every author I will just quote you Alex, since you quoted them anyway. You guys all forget about one thing in this Sensei-theory argument. I will explain in spoiler below:
