Raid night is pretty religious but 'horny' is one of the best reasons to skip because she'll have a story to tell the group later. Likelihood is screaming into a pillow, sending pics to related parties and trying too hard to make it happen again.

Sel writing is 'stuttering, blushing confusion. 'w-w-with the mistress of mammories? are you sure you're not pranking me? etc etc until finally going all in and then having a scene with nodoka recounting her tale and haruka struggling to get her to work again.'

I second your post. It is just that this did sort of bother me in the game. I mean, i doesnt want to fuck her out of fear to ruin the friendship that means a lot to him. And here comes the problem already. When has that ever happened in the game? He can fuck pretty much everyone and the outcome has never been anything bad for him, -yeah, with one exception, but that is a whole different can of worms- so i really dont get it why he is so worried about this for imani. Sure he doesnt has a high opinion about himself. But it is not as if Sara, Miku or Haru-kun did stop been his friends after getting the D.

So, this really comes out of no where. I sort of understand the overall feeling to not wanting to ruin a friendship with sex and been worried about that. It is just that, i just dont see any reason for him been worried about that and why for inamy in specific. I can understand why Sel want to not rush it with Inami. But from inside the story, it just doesnt makes sense to me.

And i just cant find any reason for his worries.

TBH it is the most reallistic explanation of why WoW players usually don't have sexual life

I feel like Akira at that point in the story was kind of holding off on doing people he hadn't done already because he was going through his "Hot Boy Summer" and making an attempt( a half-assed attempt but still an attempt) at being a better person.

So, just curious, am i really in the minority here who doesnt really see a problem with the whole Maya Prime storyline?

Even if the simple fact that she was there from the start, not just as one of the 10 original girls of the class, but also the only person who did go with him through the resets -which would be quite the traumatic experience people would form a bond over- wouldnt mean anything for you.

Then how about the thought that he gets more and more of his memories and his pre-reset personality back. And because he loved maya before the resets, those feelings are of course bleeding over into his current post-reset akira-sensei personality. Is that a too hard stretch for you guys?

Or if you really want to stay hellbend on him not loving her, then how about guilt? It is really that hard to believe that someone would feel guilt when your penis inside them, would cause them literally to be erased from existance? Because that is what happened. They had sex, he didnt started to melt for whatever reason, and instead she made pop and is now gone. I would feel shitty when my penis did cause that for another person.

And what about the simple fact that he never was any good at handling the loss of people in his life has been part of the story for quite a while now. So, i really dont see where all this arguing comes that this isnt well developed or it all happens without any reason. When i see all the reasons clearly been lying out there in the open for a while by now.

The problem isn't that the MC is just "sad" that Maya is gone, the problem is the overexaggerated reaction. He literally went into a coma for 2 months and not only wants to kill himself but was ready to give up on everything and everyone just for Maya. Even if Maya was your reset partner and a previous lover, this breakdown is unjustified story-wise.
Selebus didn't sell the reaction hard enough. I knew there was a special connection with Maya, but the aftermath of her disappearance is too much, it's poor story writting.

It would have made more sense if AMI died and then Sensei reacted like this, since she is his niece (daughter?) and has been with him forever, taking care of him forever and loving him forever. Even if Ami was starting to get very annoying and psychopathic, her being gone would have justified this reaction, but Maya doesn't.

There's not a single character but Ami that I can think of that could have made Akira react like this unironically.

When i click on the option " See what Nao is up to " .
I get the error " your save file is corrupted ", I was able to get to this point without an issue.
is there a way to fix this? preferable without using other's save file

Note: This is not how Ren'py tells you a save file is corrupted. In fact, I'm pretty sure Ren'py simply WON'T tell you a save file is corrupted. It will simply not load the save file when you try to load it, or you'll get your standard Ren'py error screen.

Sure, but Ami has been getting killed the entire time. Ami should be first in his heart I agree, but I think he hasn't really seen her as a person until very recently. The thing that made Maya special to him is that she was existing on the same plane as him, i.e she was a constant and fully aware of the state of the world. Well that, and she was seemingly unattainable, which of course created a fascination. This allowed their relationship to grow slowly and naturally over the course of his "rebirth" so I understand why he would feel like he lost the one thing he cared about the most, because to this version of Sensei, he did care about her the most. Maya was the only one he saw as a human being the entire time, as opposed to all the other girls,including Ami unfortunately, who he saw as toys.

Now should it have been this way based on things we know now about their relationship? Probably not but I think it's kind of obvious that Sel didn't plan every single detail of this story from the very beginning. And even if he did frankly, time changes you, the Sel who started LiL and the Sel writing LiL now are not the same. I know I'm not the same person I was four years ago.

im also one part of the group that was never attached to maya but i can still understand to an extent why sensei was broken up until then he wasn't taking anything seriously and felt untouchable even tho Maya kept warning him that there can be consequences for his actions now that the shoe has dropped hes realized things can get worse and that anything he does can be erased . its way hes trying to become better but also slowly giving into hes even darker side .

Does anyone know if the bug that made the game uncompleteable without URM or whatever is still around? I've been itching for a new full playthrough but I don't want to deal with any of that.

This is actually a good point. Maybe toys is not the right therm, but i think you are right. I mean she was probably the only person who is 100% aware of what he is doing and thinking. And while she did "judge" him, and in the end nothing he did or didnt do, did actually change anything in their relationship.

No matter how often she called him disgusting. Nothing did ever change for the worse. She was the only stable constant in this world for him. No matter what he would do, she wouldnt leave him and she wouldnt actually judge him for him. She knew who he was.

I think a problem for people who dont feel the same way about this is, that if you werent able to get it before, now all they get is tell, because there now nothing more to show. At least not directly and i am actually a bit disapointed he really did spend the night with eraser maya.

What are you even talking about? I have never needed URM to complete a chapter.

I have accepted that I will never get the Sensei-Maya connection. I have never understood what it is about her that is so amazing - she might be the perfect match for Sensei for whatever reason, but she's pretty far down on the list for me, and I don't expect that to change. There have been moments (e.g., their day at the street festival) where their story affected me emotionally. But I don't think I will ever get why she is somehow the one he cares about the most. I used to think it was because we had only seen her after all the resets had broken her, but if the Maya we are seeing now is the pre-reset Maya, then she (along with her "flashback to tutoring days" self) is kind of a bitch.

I don't actively hate her like I do Nodoka, but she's always been "meh" to me.

It was one of those things that had to happen. And I'm glad it did because it kind of showed us Maya's perspective on how she viewed Sensei up until he started to get memories back and show signs that the person that she loved
