In short, the game will be fine. Going into panic mode because he isn't making 120k per year at the moment is not needed. We don't need to figure out what his phone bill is to know he will survive. As well as that, it's disrespectful as fuck to hyper-analyse another mans income and expenses anyway. And it should not be done here

More like the other way around, the timing of the circumstances is less than ideal for the rework. The rework was already underway when Patreon decided to do what they did and it was the circumstances coming in when they did that started this mess. I mean, it would have started the mess anyway, but it would not have been on top of a massive rework had it occurred during a normal update period.

So.. How does one move from part 1 to part 2? I'm at the winter event chain. If I load my save in part 1 release, I get a certain chain of events, and if I load in part 2 I get another chain of events.

Part1 seems to migrate me to winter, part2 doesn't take me to winter. I'm not understanding what is going on with these builds and why i'm getting wildly different event chains.

If you have 23p2, there is no need for part 1. The most recent build always has all past content. Part 1/Part 2 is just there to indicate first half/second half of a split release. Most releases are split like that, unless that release is adding a large event chain (beach trips, holiday parties, etc).

Sounds like you're late to the party, it was some 'ethics' group that hit the Itch.io page, Selebus said as much, and the Patreon was taken down for continuing to violate the rules by using other websites. Selebus even posted a screenshot of the message from Patreon and it outright said using other sites to skirt around a rule is forbidden.

Sounds like "There Is Nothing," which should push you into the winter season change immediately after solving the last part.

They both give me different series of events after solving There is Nothing:

Out of curiosity, are you applying any patches?

There's a known issue where applying the Restoration patch to the Sex version (filename Lessons In Love) causes some progression-breaking bugs to surface. Lessons in Love doesn't need to be patched, all content is in-game by default. The patch is for Huggy Boy.

I hope I'm wrong, but there might be an artifact from that in your save file.

Edit: Look through your event trackers. Are there any events standing out as not being done, even though multiple events after it are done?

all part 1 events are done (or explicitly marked missed) for all characters, and main story.

The differing events is why I came up with the bugged save possibility. It should be that you get to winter and you stay in winter for a while.

Ah, right, this is entirely possible. I failed to account for the patches. With some patches, once you save while using them, you are stuck with using them.

Most of them were tossed into the void due to Discord rules and the changes that Selebus made to avoid them, very few are still around and the ones that are are either on the SubscribeStar or in the photo sets channel on the Discord (not to worry, he does still have the renders, just not available to patrons or anyone other than himself at the moment). Selebus has yet to officially restore any of them and not even patrons are sure when or where he will restore them.

Any character that was completely deleted was a victim of these changes. The one you are probably referring to is the fourth side gravure set and that character is a blatant violation of both Discord and Patreon rules, so she had to be removed from both at the end of her respective time on each platform.

Sure, you're not so broken in the head you let everything by but god does it take a full court case trial level of evidence and argument to make you move even an inch. This thread is always 'alex and everyone else'. I'm not seeking to start some big fight with you but reading your response to being called a superfan had me saying, out loud, "you're kidding right?". You can go on claiming you're not a superfan if you want, but i guarantee you no one who comes here regularly is buying it.

I don't think you're some horrible person but if you posted about a quarter as much i think you'd better blend into the crowd and lose the title of resident superfan. Not that you will of course, just trying to give you some measure of the distance between where you think you are and where you're perceived by others to be at.

The game is too long to still be in the "introduce characters and their issues that might become interesting one day" stage but here we are. It's an unwieldy cast list that makes searching for events tiresome, and leaves many girls underdeveloped (not that way) and/or disconnected from anything meaningful that may be perceived as happening. The MC's sadsack, self-indulgent whinging about how he doesn't care to get involved and can't love or smile or whatever starts to get annoying. Maya is justified in being so tired.

When it's good it's very good, and hopefully one day it'll be great. But as many TV shows in the past have shown, it's a lot easier to create the illusion of something great about to happen than to actually answer the questions and satisfy audiences. Teasing conflicts and issues is one thing, letting them play out another. Maybe the next dorm war will be a three-way contest with another wacky-but-shallow troupe of teenage girls?
