Also, do I really have to...? Because choosing the first choice while alot better will cause missing an event.

I chose go home on my main save. I don't regret it. I would make sure to watch the scene though as painful as it is, because it doesnt feel right to avert our eyes from the dark.

Hey guys, been a while. I got a new pc because my old one literally fucking exploded, and my entire save file is gone. I am gonna need some help resetting everything. If someone with coding knowledge could gimme their discord and walk me through fine tuning some things I would be infinitely grateful.

I recommend just downloading a save right here and starting playing.

If you choose the first one it's red path, if you choose the second one you get "stomachache". This is the choice that sparked the real discussion between red path and green path from how harsh that event was. Obviously there were other meaningful choices before, like having sex with Ami - but that was so monumental that what you gain doesn't compare to what you lose.

I think Akira wants to suffer.

I mean suffering as in punishment for his actions. As I have mentioned before, there has been no payoff for previous "ticking bombs" which I fucking hate, nor there has been any consequences affecting Akira, which I am certain that Akira also has a problem with. And he is tired of living without consequences.
This is almost a certainty. Since the last reset alone he's already confessed that he predates on teenagers to Osako, he told Maki about Sekai and almost confessed what he was doing to Makoto and Miku in the process. He just had sex with Imani where she tried living out a schoolgirl fantasy, but then had that ripped from her when he confessed to her how his schoolgirl fantasies actually work instead, and he made sure to point out it used 20 students. He even hoped that she understood in the black screen text, but we'll have to see if anything happens with the next Wakana events.
Don't forget after the dorm wars court case Akira found out they're all openly competing and started getting upset. He wanted them to keep things secret like his fantasies, that it's not the same if it's normal and there's nothing to fear.

He's been trying to get punished for a long time. He's not interested in trying to improve himself since Ch4. He had ideas of it during Ch3 and the gods yelled at him for it.

So... now that I've had time to think on this update... what in the world was the plan with the way things ended there... ALL that build-up, all that intrigue and for what? For it to just kinda... fizzle at the end? Break people apart even further?
Is this even more set-up for what I am still fully expecting to be a war arc of some sort. Like is this just splitting people off into factions for that?
I think Nodoka tried to break the world by breaking the god king Akira from his position. She made him a sub for the first event, made his incest secret public to the class and then tried to make his predatory nature public to the adults. It might have even worked if it was chapter 1, but Akira wants to be punished right now. It just kind of made his day instead.

Gotta wait for the beach.

I think it's just interesting. The game did a really good job misleading me with her character and I'm glad it did because I like real Noriko a lot more than my assumptions about her
Be careful thinking you aren't being mislead anymore, that's misleading 101. Maya having a sensible problem with a love rival doesn't mean she was exaggerating how bad Noriko could have been during the loops. Some of her intro dialogue mentions how she knows it's only been a few years but for some reason it feels like it's been an eternity.

And if you want to overthink things, she came in with an almost yandere personality, saw that it wasn't getting her anywhere, turned into a deredere and almost got laid if his star crossed lover didn't call at that exact moment. She knows how to manipulate him to get what she wants.

There isnt any missed scenes YET...only variations in dialogue so far. But there could be in the future
Stomachache itself becomes a missed event if you go home, it's undeniably red path.

Sure there haven't been any additional events missed, but there's huge differences in dialogue, and a particular point of development on green path. I'm a little disappointed the date was as similar on both paths as it was.

Oh no, I totally get that, and I'm sure there are some big Noriko revelations down the barrel since she's also probably involved in the mysterious public maya incident that led to him disappearing the second time around.

I think it's more that I'm just happy that she isn't just the stereotypical yandere, just because that's an archetype I hate and find extremely boring. Like outside of the Akira stuff she is still a sweetheart, especially when it comes to Yumi and anyone else who crosses her paths. Even with Kirin and her weird openness about letting her compete for Akira. She's a punk and an "anarchist" with socially progressive values and I think she's an interesting spin on the whole concept of an obsessive sort of Yandere type in that she's more about self destructively molding herself to Akira rather than the other way around. She's an actual character and not just the millionth paper cutout of Yuno Gasai, which is what I mean when I say I like her more than what I assumed she was going to be.

Could u give me the log in Time New Roman where Akira said that pls. I basically just followed the guide to pass so I maybe miss that dialogue where he want to protect Niki
It's in Selebus' commentary for "Times new roman", included in the FanFest. In the event itself it's implied through Akira's blaming himself for Ami's death (seeing her corpse everywhere), and what he says looking at Niki's photo in one of the drawers.

Basically, Ami's dead because of him and Niki would be next. Thus, he locks himself for ten years despite Niki never giving up on him. He lets Sana in because he both doesn't care that much about her, and because (implied) she's family. We're still waiting on the "being family" revelation though, that is a theory for now.

If there is one thing that I genuinely don’t like in the more recent dorm wars, it’s how certain developments, which are worthy enough to receive their own proper updates, get criminally abridged so that they could be forcefully stuffed into dorm wars’ tight formats. Io’s date, Rin’s date, Touka having more balls than Sensei when it comes to standing ground against Ami, etc. All of those push the story forward and would benefit from some proper initiations and endings, just like what he does in any other regular update. However, being just “half of the content in one of the tenth competitions” and being “somewhat equivalent to Death Ball” make them not as impactful; there are all here for floor points that serve no purpose.

Seriously, Selly should really consider giving up on dorm wars at this point when it is no longer the best form to push out some developments relevant to the current chapter themes, and when it isn’t really bringing much new to the table (look at how many reused contests there are in the 5th one! How many of them interest you?!). Just let the girls hang out without all the rambunctiousness…like, I really don’t mind the awkward unfunniness at the end of the day since somebody else might’ve laughed at it, but using dorm wars to hinder story advancement and the feeling of “whelp another month of probably no progress” leaves an awful aftertaste.

Edit: even normie DnD is quite worthy of a full fledged session and doesn’t need to be a part of a contest (Kirin trying to fuck magic hand is pretty hilarious); would love to see bunch of normies being goof with dices.

I'm not sure if Rin's or Io's dates needed more to them. They did each get a full event for their time together; similar to the previous dorm war dates. And both girls have a lot more growth available in their relationships with Akira, so I see it as more of a move the story along opposed to a start/end like thing. Could they have been like mini events, like Chika's Onsen, or Maya's birthday? That may have been too much, unless it was really pushing each of their relationshjips with Akria to the top of the pile.

Touka vs Ami, that I dont see going away quickly. That was more of a jump off point and I'm interested in seeing how that progresses. Now, did it have to happen in a dorm wars event; no it could have been in like a generic class room one where they get into a disagreement to hit it off, but it doesn't not fit to me.

All 3 kinda highlight what I expect from things like Dorm Wars and the Beach trip. Move some things along a little, give other stories a bit of a kick off so they don't come out of nowhere, and put some combos or girls together who normally don't interact. And forcing the various sub stories to somewhat converge so you dont end up with like 50 different variables

Oh and Death Ball. I thought I was bad the 1st time, and was not looking forward to it the 2nd. Actually laughed a bit this time, but would be perfectly fine with never seeing it again

With me, I’ll go through waves where I play the game a ton, then drop it for months and disappear. Then come back, repeat process. Always been like that with LiL.

I do try to stay caught up on the forum here though, as long as I’m not worried about spoilers. So many peeps consistently expanding and improving my understanding of the game. And some folks making me laugh. It’s a good time; a throwback to simpler forum based internet nostalgia for me.
